    Subject: Overcharged bill and disturbance by AIRTEL

    Dear Concern,

    I'd got my AIRTEL migrated from prepaid to postpaid. Before migration, I got call from AIRTEL that as per 299 plan, I can use free internet with 1 GB data download for one month as well as local call will 40 ps and STD call will be 50 ps on any network. I can make 750 calls local/STD per month with no cost. I've to pay 300/- rs. for this plan. This 300/- rs. will be refunded as bill discount of rs 100/- for 3 months.

    After migration to postpaid(which was done on 13 Nov 2011), again I got call from AIRTEL and according to that my local call will be 50 ps to other and 40 ps to AIRTEL, STD call will be 60 ps to other and 50 to AIRTEL. Also the deposited amount 300 will be refunded only when I surrender the number.

    I told executive that before migration I got different information but he/she denied that there is no such plan.

    I started using postpaid number from 13 Nov 2011 and on 27 Nov 2011. I received bill from AIRTEL of rs. 5994/-. According to bill I've used 825 MB data downloaded and approx 250 calls. According to plan I shouldn't charge at all because I've used service within limit.

    I communicated a lot to customer care regarding this issue but they always told me that I've to pay this amount.

    Then I mailed this issue to airtelpresence@in.airtel.com. I got this mail id from this place(consumer court wesite).

    But as per reply from them, AIRTEL has ignored what I asked in my mail.

    They are saying in one line that bill is correct and I've pay this amount.

    In between my other ARITEL no. was in roaming and I requested to AIRTEL that please don't call me my phone will be in roaming. Mail me on this issue and I respond you on time. But they ignored my request and called me serveral times on this issue and tortured me mentally.

    I've all the mails and bill with me. Please suggest/take some actions on this issue.

    Perhaps you may have sent message to the complaining number (9663483312). I've conveyed to AIRTEL several times, I've thrown away that sim. Contact me on 8197309024 or mail.dsp@gmail.com. Although they contacted me on this number after this message. But strange why you didn't contact me on this number.
    Anyway for your information I would like to let you know that AIRTEL has again sent me bill of amount 6005.19 Rs.
    This issue has not been resolved yet. Untill and unless I get written confirmation from AIRTEL that there is no due on me as well as that number is cancelled(as I already requested), I can't consider this issue as resolved.
