    Default Tata docomo 3g wf-fi hub postpaid billing

    I took a postpaid 3G WI-FI Postpaid connection paying 6000 rupees for the device, and the plan was 5GB free for 1000 rupees per billing cycle. Thinking that will be paying only 1000+tax, i was for a suprise when my bill arrived, it was rupees 2127.00 for my 300 MB usage , when called the customer care, they responded that I was using 2g gprs that is not in the plan, my issue with that is that the device is a 3G wi-fi hub, how would you know weather it has connected to a 3G or 2G, and more over why would they connect to a 2G when my hub is 3G WI-FI, when asked to the customer care, the answer was that i will be able to figure this by notcing the speed, if it is slow, then I am in 2G else I am in 3G. I paid the 2127.00 and have asked to diconnect my service. Now my total loss for using 300 MB is 8127, because the hub is useless anymore.

    The whole advertisment in TV and internet of unwanted Service and Bill Guarantee are misleading public. If they have the plan like this, then they should disclose all the details to a customer. Customer must be well informed.

    Customers be aware that anyone taking 3G WI-FI hub, better be aware of the plan before diving into the data, other wise you are in for a suprise at the end of the month and also device is expensive too, so folks, think before getting into the trap.

    Default I want to buy new battery for TATA DOCOMO wifi hub

    I have visited more than 20 electronic shops across bangalore. I have visited TATa -Docomo sales counters. I have made more than 25 calls to various customer care numbers given in the website. (18002660000, 080-66680000, 1800266121 etc).

    Can you tell me where is the battery available. Which is the actual customer care number for this device?
