    Default 3g Billing issue with Airtel connection

    This is regarding the my Airtel bill dt: 21-Oct-2011, Bill No: 593776321. Phone: 9980031400

    I was in a Rs.750/- data plan with a download limit of 5GB and had used only 2.74GB during this billing cycle. On 18th Oct 2011 I had decided to cancel the plan and spoke to the customer service at around 8.45PM. They had informed me that the plan will be deactivated within 4hours. Next day (19thOct) I had decided to move to Rs.150/- plan with a download limit of 2GB which I felt would be sufficient for me.

    When I received my monthly bill I was surprised to see that they cancelled my plan on 17thOct2011 and all data charges for 18thOCT was calculated with premium charges(not charged according to 750 plan). They had later put me on new plan froin 19thOct (which I had requested).,

    Total data Billing costs for 2.74GB was charged at Rs.8857/- plus taxes.
    Billing data charges till 17th Oct and from 19th Oct Rs.8045/-
    Bill data charges on 18th oct Rs.812/-

    I was forced to pay an excess charge of Rs.812/- for 18th <while still being in Rs.750/-> plan.
    I tried to call up their customer service and all they do is put me on hold and disconnect the call. Distressed by their attitude ,. I am planing to move away from Airtel.
