    Default Vodafone- Overcharged Bill and worst response on email and phone

    Hi,

    I am having a vodafone connection for some time and I activated 3g services on my phone with 100mb free usage for 100rs and 2paise per 10kb after that.
    I used this service just to access office emails and after a month I got a bill of 2500 Rs. I generally get a bill of 400-500.
    I got shocked and checked that the bill showed that i used the 3g services for 500mb, If i check the complete office emails for the whole last month then too the total amount does not reach 500mb and the outlook software on my phone doesn't even download attachments. Nowhere in the world that is possible.

    Even If i agree that the bill is correct then too i was overcharged. Instead of charging me 2 PAISE per 10 KB they charged me 10 PAISE per 10kb and then gave a discount of 60%. which meant that they still charged me 20% more.

    When i called them the customer service representative was not able to explain me the bill details and started to shout on me. I explained her multiple times and she refused to hear. Even then i called again and luckily this time some well behaved person attended me and took my complaint. Even he agreed that i was overcharged.

    Meanwhile I sent multiple emails and every time i got the same reply

    "THE BILL AMOUNT IS CORRECT AND WE ARE HAPPY TO HELP"

    It amazes me that either the maths skills of the employee are so weak or its a computer generated response. Please hire someone who can do basic calculations.
    If you are happy to help then kindly call the consumer who has mailed you 10 times and finally had to do the maths in the mail to explain.

    Even then you came back waiving me 615 Rs which only they know how they calculated because if you do some basic percentage arithmetic you can tell that it should be minimum 800 + extra taxes charged on me.

    On top of all this they also disconnected my outgoing calls twice and had to call them to enable it. Each call lasted 20 minutes.

    I am so irritated that i am reporting this at 12:30 in the night and sacrificing my sleep.

    Considering the billing rate that i charge to my client I think vodafone owes me much more that i owe them and would want to put a case in consumer court against them. I have written proof of mail interaction with them where they have denied 3-4 times of not charging me more and atlast when they agreed they still didn't waive off the correct amount.

    Someone please let me know some contact in bangalore who can help me in putting a case against this company who has no respect for customers.

    HI Varun,
    Just dont trust them. The same happened with me for taking 2G services. And after i warned them of going to consumer court. Then only they refunded the money. Earlier,they were saying its a valid usage.But actually it wasn't. After all the proofs i had given to them they agreed its invalid and refunded me the money. It took 25 days of harrassment. Don't give up. They will understand by hook or make them understand by crook method.

    Default Pathetic service from TATA photon and reluctant behaviour of their customer support

    I am using Tata Photon for internet connection for the last one year almost, my account number is 909682595. I am on an unlimited plan as well as a corporate customer.
    For the last two months their service has deteriorated like hell.I have sent several email and called their help desk,but they seems not bothered. I have got an email ten days before , they mentioned that it might take till AUG to resolve this issue. Internet in today's world is a necessity for people working in software industry. A bunch of jokers sittinf there seems do not understand that. I called up their helpdesk to ask some senior person number, but I was given to understand that those people are unaccesible
    as per company policy. Can you tell me what is the procedure to file a complain against them on consumer court.

    They are charging me the same rate despite not being able to give me the promised service. I am sick and tired of this kind of consumer service.Their
    sales guys are great in lip service , but not available in times of need.

    Please assist.
