I am vodafone user from last 3-4 years. Currently I am on corporate postpaid plan of 149 Rental. My billing cycle is 28th to 27th of next month. I get bill in range of 600-900 every month. Zero rental mobile connect plan was activated on my number.
In october month on 28th oct, bill of Rs. 811 is generated. On 29th october end of day my unbilled amount was in tune of Rs. 180 - Rs 200. I have requested to activate Blackberry prosumer 599 plan on 30th October and it got activated within 2 hrs.
After 1 day of usage on 31st october evening, I checked my unbilled amount then I was SHOCKED to see that it has reached from mere Rs 200 to Rs. 5500. Can you explain me what I must have in 1 day causing such a upward movement in unbilled amount. (FYI : I am pretty aware of the fact that streaming videos on blackberry is on and above blackberry unlimited plan and I have not streamed single video).
I have called customer care 111 and 198 and tried seeking explanation for the same but I have got revert saying its not possible to tell breakup at this point of time and you will come to know reason only after bill is generated. This is insane. Do you really expect customer to stay with your service after seeing change of billing amount from 200 to 5500 in JUST ONE DAY??? At this speed, at the end of the month my unbilled amount will be lakh or so. Do you expect me to wait for next 27 days till my bill generate to see hefty and unrealistic bill at end of the month??? Do you realise how traumatic experience this is ???
I have switched off Data services using my blackberry phone settings and I seek explanation from vodafone for such horrendous and insane billing on my account. I will anyways throw my card if I get unrealistic and hefty bill at end of month.
I assure you of the fact that if not resolved, I will go to consumer court to get this settled.
