I have been an Idea/Spice customer for the last 4+ years. I got a new handset which is 3G enabled and hence requested for activation of GPRS and 3G plans since I did not know which was active in my handset. They promptly deducted Rs. 8 for 3G one day pack and Rs. 5 for GPRS one day pack. Even after charging for both the packs, they have deducted Rs. 150+ for Browsing internet which would not have exceeded 5 to 10 MB. The data limit for 1 day pack of GPRS was 75 MB and 3G was 10 MB. So I called customer care and they registered a complaint for Overcharging. Its been 4 days and they have not replied back regarding the complaint. Since then I have been using their GPRS 1 day pack for 3 days and suddenly today, they have debited 200+ rupees eventhough I have activated their 1 day pack. When I called the customer care services today, their customer care representative whose name was "Satish" was rude to me and when I asked him why I have not received any reply about the previous complaint, he told that complaint was closed. Also he insisted that I have exceeded my 75 MB limit today and hence have been charged 200 Rupees. When I asked him to connect me to his higher authority, he took my information and then put me on hold for 5 Minutes saying that he is connecting me and then he dropped my call. When I tried contacting Customer care again, I got a message saying that I cannot be put through.
I have lost Rs. 350 within a week. I have all the messages they have sent regarding the complaint number, activation of GPRS pack. I also have a data counter software in my phone which shows how much data has been downloaded/uploaded. So please suggest me how to proceed further.
