My name is Radeesh, I just had a very very bad experience with Vodafone. I had taken a new postpaid connection from Vodafone, first they took almost 3 days to activate that number, saying that some verifications were pending and then finally they activated this number after 1 complete day their person visited my residence.
Then very shockingly they just deactivated my number, I received no calls from their side and now they are asking for 3 months bank statement or salary slip. I mean WTF.
1) Nobody told me this was required to have a post-paid connection. My brother even visited their gallery twice for activating this number and once their person came to my residence.
2) How the hell they can just disconnect the line without asking me or even speaking to me?
3) When I spoke to their executive "Sameer" (from JUHU Vodafone gallery) he told me that they want to be sure that I'll be able to pay this bill. For god sake... I don't know what's wrong with these guys, coz I just took a 235 Rs normal plan and told them that my usage will be limited and I also got a SMS from their side stating that my credit limit will be 500 rs (and I have even paid Rs 350 for sim card).
I am already using TATA, to be honest I never faced such irresponsible, unprofessional behavior from them. I have a friend group and they are using 9 vodafone numbers and they actually forced me to have a vodafone numer but after the behavior vodafone people showed me now all of my friends are planning to disconnect the numbers.
I am really shocked to see the kind of unprofessional behavior they showed. I mean, if they wanted my income proof, they could have easily asked for it, was this kind of action requied?
I have lost a good business deal because of these guys as I was not having any other way to contact my client. Now who is gonna pay for that?
Now I and my friends have lost our trust in Vodafone and their armature services and customer care ( as these losers still want me to visit their gallery (wasting my quality time) to submit my income proof or even if I want to speak to any responsible person over there.
What the hell, all this headache for a number? Go to hell man...
I would have been really happy and would have happily submitted the required documents if they had asked for it without disconnecting the line. But now it doesn't even matter because they disconnected the line which was not even activated 24 hours before.
I mean, this is how vodafone provides service???
I just want to know, is there somebody who can help me to get my 350 rs back which I spent for a new sim card? as I will never be using vodafone in my entire life and will suggest the same to everyone around me.

my callertunes are not getting activated since i have bought this number.i have used every technique used to activate it.but all the time a message come from vodafone that-"this service is not applicable on your vodafone phone". customer care executives r also not responding.nodal officer's number is not working.vodafone store also don't have any answer.i have got verified my number twice.

I am having prepaid connection of vodafone with no 9769048767.As it was damaged 8 months before and I was in offshore for more than 6 months while returning from offshore I collected new sim card with same mobile no from vodafone store and thus connection was activated within 4 hrs but after somewhile my connection was disconnected permanently.I have also recharged the no but they havent told me anything about the no will be disconected after a while.I have asked customer care executive but he told me do recharge of 50 or 100 Rs so that your mobile will be activated shortly.So as per his advice same was done,still my number is permanently disconnected and overall I am incurring loss of more than 50000 rs as well as in great strain due to this.So please do needfull.

As you mentioned that you have already registered your complaint with the VODAFONE customer care but still not get any response, so we suggest you to send a written notice to the Nodal Officer via email or registered post, mention all the details in it and ask them for the proper solution with in the mentioned time in the notice, wait for their response and revert us back.
Note: Keep all the copy of Complaint, Notice and the registered post slip, this may help you if you need to knock the consumer forum.

VODAFONE is only a FRAUD COMPANY nothing else. There mind set now a days is to replace Hutch posters etc with the new vodafone.
My personal openion now is ONLY BSNL in India is providing the best services rest ALL ARE USELESS, Government Organizations are even better than Vodafone.
I strongly recommend that NoOne should go for their CHEAP & ROUGH Services else you will get your money to the DUSTBIN.
I tried vodafone care approx 100 times but everytime they didn't connect my call and they charge each n every call.
On 10 august 2010 i recharge my connection with 98 coupan gfor unlimited message for 1 month but now vodafone charge my every message at 1 rs per message.

Shriram have you activated caller tunes? Cuz im a vodafone customer and yes they charge you 30 bucks every month for this. Some times they deduct even if you have de activated. that it becuz of activation date (1 month period) etc. I suggest you wait one more month and if they still deduct you send a complaint
