    Angry AirTel automatic balance deduction.

    My experience with AirTel has been the worst!
    Story 1: AirTel deducted Rs. 30 from my balance a few months ago, their reason: "You downloaded 2 animations through AirTel Live!" Now why would I download some stupid animation from AirTel Live! rather than from my internet connection? Rs. 30 deducted from my balance =~ Rs 36/- with tax. The guy at customer care told me that they will look into my problem and it will be solved by the next day. On the next day nothing happened.

    Story 2: I was on roaming, my Dad recharged my number with Rs. 120. Instantly after 1/2 Hr a message arrived "You have been charged Rs 15/- for downloading animation from AirTel Live!" Great! And I didn't even got to see what the animation looked like, I was helpless while roaming because I can't call my home network customer care.

    Story 3: A few days earlier a new service named "Gyan Pack" was activated automatically. It deducted my balance by Rs. 3 for 3 days, at that time I had Rs. 0.09, thus after deduction my balance = Rs. -2.91 . I recharged my number with Rs 10, balance = -2.91 + 6 = Rs. 3.09. I called the customer care, the automated voice says you will be charged Rs 0.5 for every 3 min. AirTel is so innovative at things like this, first they deduct balance and when their customer call the customer care they charge them, isn't it awesome? A lady at the other end says "Surprise! you have two more services active!", I said "Oh great! It was expecting this from you, keep it up". Then I decided to PORT my number to another carrier. For that I recharged again with Rs. 10 and messaged PORT 9178169695 to 1900 before AirTel can deduct again, my unique port ID arrived after 10 min. and I was left with balance = Rs. 2.XX. Then something magical happened, a notification says "Your last call cost Rs. 2.XX. Call duration 00:00:00". If you want to see that magic switch to AirTel they are masters at this!

    Thank you AirTel, I am loving it. Do you really enjoy doing this to me?

    Unhappy balance deducted

    dear sir,
    It is very sad that our Indian company devoid us...

    mujhe compaint karte karte 4 months ho chuke h customer care mera call recieve nahi karte hai...
    ya kehte h ki humara server down hai...mujhe kisi bhi tarha ka koi bhi reponse nahi milta bas kehte hai thodi der bad call kare fir mera call black list me kar dete hai jisse me call hi nahi kar pata customer care ko...

    aaj hi mere cell se 20rs. balance nikal liya gaya or unhone eski koi vajha nahi batayi

    essa pehli bar nahi har bar hota hai 4 times me complaint kar chuka hu
    magar vo kuch nahi karte hai...sir indian comapany se achi to forgien ki company hai jo kam se kam pessa to lutti nahi hai
    please sir meri ess compaint ko jaldi se jaldi solve kare

    I am yugal bandari,my airtel number is 9618020148.for the past 1 week i have been getting 1 message everyday from airtel regarding balance deduction.the deduction is not for any call made.i dont know why but i cant call customer care from my number,as and when i did i was told i had been using internet on my mobile and hence the deduction which was not true.anyways i told them to take a request to cancel the internet service on 10/09/11,it was confirmed by some supervisor.i was given a reference no.2091003239100.
    guess what happens on 11/09/11 i get a message for balance deduction(Rs1.20) the same way as i used to get previously and also this morning(12/09/11) again for (Rs 4.30).i am fed up of this issue and i am really hoping that this issue will be resolved after i hav posted in this forum.
