    Default Airtel billing issue- with inconsistant and un answerable billing

    My mobile number is 974028008 and i have been using GPRS services from 2007. On an average i have always been having billing upto 3-4 thousand INR. i have had a good payment history.

    However in the month of MAY i have had a bill of Rs. 28000. till that time i never had 3 G services switched on. despite my multiple complaints to airtel to resolve the billing issue, no one has come to sort this issue out to me. i am not paying my mobile bill till this issue is sorted out. I am being harrased to pay my bill everyday by the airtel collection department.


    i would want an enquiry to be done on this

    Airtel billing issue

    My mobile number is 9810213569 and i have been using GPRS services from 2006. On an average i have always been having billing upto 500 to 1000 INR. i have had a good payment history.

    However in the month of APR'11 & MAY'11, i have had a bill of Rs. 28000. Despite my multiple complaints to airtel to resolve the billing issue, no one has come to sort this issue out to me. i am not paying my mobile bill till this issue is sorted out. I am being harrased to pay my bill everyday by the airtel collection department. They are even calling to my friends\collegues\office contacts & harassing to them also.


    I would want an enquiry to be done on this. Kindly look into this issue & suggest me some solution.

    Can someone from the consumer court help with getting this investigated? i am really getting harrased by the Airtel people everyday. I ofcourse want to pay the bill for the phone calls i have made and for the internet usage i hae had.... but i would definitely not want to be taken on a ride due to unreasonable billing of Airtel for a perticular month

    Could you help me with a resolution to my complaint for which this thresd was started? i am not understanding why are you people taking so much of time and the prime concern for this thread was listed for my number and not Amit's. please help me through a resolution.
