I am using Vodafone network and my number is 9866312342. On July 19th at 1:39 PM I got a message from vodafone care (124) stating that they are going to charge for my callertune service and asked me to contact 124 tollfree number to change caller tune or to cancel the caller tune. I immediately called 124 to deactivate the caller tune and deactivated the caller tune. As, I have deactivated the Voice responsive system stated me that my caller tune deactivation will be done with 24 hrs and a confirmation message will be received. But, I haven't received any message, I waited for 24 hrs but my caller tune was not deactivated so, I once again rung the same 124 number and deactivated again. I waited for another 24 hours, there was no conformation message from the service provider. At last I got a message stating that an amount of Rs.: 30 is deducted towards caller tune. I rung customer care 111 and asked regarding the issue, my call was not taken and it got disconnected stating that they will not refund my amount. Once again I rung and this time a lady answered my call and promised me that she will complain about this and she will see that my amount is refunded. I asked her to please send me the complaint registration details so that it will be helpful. But she has'nt sent any messages she just deactivated my caller tune. After that I once again rung customer care their way of handling is rough and they spoke in a negligent manner. These service providers are activating services and collecting amounts illegally.
