Vodafone prepaid GPRS@98 cheating My Name is Karthikeyan and my vodafone number is 9585981378. I am using the monthly GPRS @ 98 plan for 2 GB .. I never use 2 GB ... now, for the last 3 months, i have been giving the auto-renewal option for this plan and vodafone sends me a confirmation that auto renewal of this plan is active.. but, Vodafone never auto renews the plan and starts deducting for data used once the validity is over without giving any sort of warning.. when this cheating is happening, I am not even able to check my balance and last 5 transactions.. suddenly, my whole balance gets drained to ZERO after I browse for a while unknowningly that the validity is over and the auto renewal is just not happening.. this has been happening to me for the last 3 months and I have lost nearly 700-800rs on this..
I opted for 98gprs plan manually on june-17-2011 after having fed up of waiting for auto renewal. now yesterday on 17th july, again auto renewal failed and I got nearly 100rs taken from my account.. I have registered several complaints with Vodafone care and none of them is of any use.. some like Vidayalakshmi promised a refund of atleast Rs.100 but it never happened.. Every time i speak to a new customer care officer and explain the whole story from the start.. this is very frustrating and Vodafone should be taken to Consumer court.. they must refund ALL the amount deducted from my balance for Vodafin MOBILE CONNECT apart from the monthly 98 plan over the last 3 months.. please help..

I also called for 99 rs. plan. but the bill had 536+99+tax included for the surfing on mobile and I had 0 downloads.

Beware of VODAFONE 3G Prepaid. Cheaters...Do not go for it. Ever heard of negative balances in prepaid account. Maybe yes upto 5 or 10 rupees. Ever heard of Rs500+ Debit in a Prepaid account. yes. This is what is happening with Vodafone 3g. If you take a 3G prepaid Plan say MI850 which offers 6GB, and assume that once the 6GB is over your internet will not connect...You are Wrong. Vodafone Claims that if you are logged in even after your limited prepaid Data has exhausted, they do not disconnect your services. On the contrary they allow you to use the services at very high rates and dont even inform you that your balance has exhausted and you are using the services at very high rates. when you recharge the next time they deduct the entire amount from your recharges. I had activated MI850 plan and since it got over last night, I recharged for Rs: 786 full talk time along with a Rs:500 with 450 as talk time. Totally I recharged for Amount 1286 assuming that i will get a balance of Rs: 1236. My heart skipped a beat and I was horrified to know that after these recharges my account had a negative balance of Rs:-42. I called up Vodafone Care on 116 and there i was informed by the Customer care representative Mr. Akash that My account was having a negative balance of Rs: 1,278/- How can that be true? Can a Prepaid account have a negative balance of Rs: 1,278/-...? Ever heard of any such instance.This is happening with Vodafone 3G. BEWARE the customer care says had I not recharged today, they still would have allowed me to use the internet at those high rates 10ps per 10 kb till I recharged and there is no specified limit for the same. Shocking...Prepaid card with no limit for extended use. Cheats...Cheats...just want to prey on unsuspecting Customers. If you refuse to pay on the grounds that a Prepaid is not supposed to work after the balance has exhausted...you will be shocked. They will send recovery people to your house for a Prepaid account too...! VODAFONE....Pathetic. Cheaters....Liars...Exploiting on unsuspecting customers..!
