    Hi,
    I am using the airtel number 9007028833 since some time now. I opted to port out of airtel last month but I got a call from airtel customer care stating that the will reduce my call rates to 50p for std and local. I will get 222mins std and 222mins local free, 2gb internet free and 200msgs free per month. Additionally I will get 250 discount for two months. I usually got a bill around 700-800 per month. On 8th July I got a call from airtel stating that my bill is over 13,000 and they will bar my out going calls unless I pay the complete bill. I called up the customer care but in vain. I had to leave for a holiday with friends and I was not able to communicate with my family during the same. I came back and tried to call up the customer care to resolve the issue but nothing fruitfull happened. I then decided to put this issue in consumer court. They have charged me over 12,000 for internet usage which by the way they agreed to give me free 2gb per month. I dont think I can possibly use up this kind of data through my phone on 2G network. I think airtel needs to give its customers an explanation why this kind of abnormal bills are generated and why are the customer cares not caring about the customers. They do not take any heed in resolving the issues they just pass the phone line from one person to another. Some one better own up this issue. And no points for guessing my outgoing is still barred. Please help me identify the way out to settle this.

    i face exactly similar problem.i use to get bill of about 500 rupees.but last month my billl exceeded 10,850rs even with credit llimit of 1800.they didn't informed me even once!On asking about my data usage they have still not shown any copy of my data usage but airtel is forcing me to pay those charges.i cann't believe i exceeded 2GB.please help resolving this problem.thanks

    i was using 9997122554 for last one year and recently got bill of 10,850rs.i was not warned even once and my credit limit is 1800 rs.whats with this abnormal bill??my connection is taken down, i lost my old number.there still not any satisfactory answer to this.i'm highly disappointed.pls clear unnecessary due on number 9997122554.

    My cell outgoing has been barred and I am in roaming presently that is the reason there are no incomming calls on my number. Please call me on Monday as I will be back on Monday 25th July.

    Hi,
    My number has been barred and the sim card registration has failed. I have no out going or incomming on my phone. I had placed a request to close the connection so that there are no further bills as I am not using the services anymore.

    Default airtel bill exceeding the limit

    Hi,

    This is regarding the bill generated for the phone number 9007028833. There were a lot of discripancies in the bill generated as is tabulated below.

    My credit limit was 1500 which was increased to limit of 3000 in the middle on the month on my request.
    I had been promised a gprs pack of 2gb for one year which was not applied on my connection
    I have called up airtel customer care a lot of times to settle this issue but they were not ready to listen to any of my requests.


    I am ready to pay the credit limit of my connection which is 3000. Please let me know whom to contact and the process of the payment. So that there can be a settlement of this issue. Please reply at tushar_kanti@hotmail.com in this regards.

    Default Airtel playing hide and seek?????????????????????????//

    Hi,
    I am A Doctor using the airtel number 9483266197, since some time now. My bill has never crossed One thousand rupees on an average and I get a message that your credit limit has been revised to 35oo,(it was 1200 at the time). Then suddenly I get a message that I have crossed my limit of 3500 and I need to pay that much to keep my phone connected????????????
    I think airtel needs to give its customers an explanation why this kind of abnormal bills are generated and why are the customer cares not caring about the customers. I have spoken to 4 of them ,but all promises,,( incuding one today)They do not take any heed in resolving the issues they just pass the phone line I was not warned even once and my credit limit is 1200 Rs. What s with this abnormal bill, So whenever airtel wants it will revise limit …………………?
    But wait,
    They will wait, till you make a huge bill unknowingly………….in my case the intenet bill which I never asked for activation nor did they send me any details of the limit., current usage etc,( for all other issues like advertisement they send u thousand sms).
    My family members, 6 in number have all been using airtel since 10 yrs.My first mistake was to change one of my number from BSNL to AIRTEL.
    Now I am planning to disconnect all sIX numbers and opt for some other provider,
    Airtel is unlucky to miss me./////////
