    Angry Complaint against Vodafone

    = Rs. 436.79 + late payment charges



    Respected Sir/Madam
    I am a Vodafone postpaid customer.In the above mentioned bill, i have been charged with Rs. 396/- for Downloads charges, which i certainly have not done. Also, these people are not willing to register my complaint and they are not providing me a valid complaint number regarding the same, despite numerous attempts.
    After trying many times on hotline,I have visited Vodafone gallery also, but even there, they did not register my complaint, saying that, the charges are accurate and the system is not accepting the complaint. Instead, they gave me an invalid sr. no.
    In the itemized bill, i am able to see the time of downloads
    (4* Rs. 99 = Rs. 396),but certainly i(nor anyone else)have not done those downloads,neither intentionally nor unintentionally. After repeated mails to Vodafone,i keep getting the same answer, that the charges are accurate,and i will have to pay them.
    I have asked them for the details of the downloads i.e. names of the games, names of the download packs,durations of downloads and size of the packs, which they fail to explain.
    I really do not understand the reason to pay for the services that i have not used.
    Apart from this, they are also inserting late payment charges on the disputed amount.I have already made the payment of the logically correct amount of my usage to Vodafone,before the due dates.It is a cause of unnecessary stress to me and wastage of my time, dealing with them in such an unprofessional manner.
    I request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful.It is a matter of seious concern to all the customers regarding such fake charges and utterly poor complaint redressal system by Vodafone.If the itemized bill or anything else is required from my side to provide to you, kindly do let me know.

    Hello,

    Send a written notice via registered post to your area nodal officer about your problem, mention all the complaints no. in it and ask them for the proper solution so that you will not face such type of problem again.

    Note: Do not forget to keep the slip of registered post in safe, it will help you if the parent company will not solve the issue with in the mention time of 15 to 20 days.

    Hi,

    I approached Vodafone store in Thane, Mumbai for a new connection with a choice No. But the guys at stores told me that I will have to pay Rs. 10000/- as a premium apart from other deposites & operational expense.

    I have the same No. in Idea as well which I got it for free.(without paying any premium)

    How fair is it to charge this kind of money for new connection. Also the customer care representatives there were so arrogent that they said that though you are corporate client we cant help you in this & you can get the connection from any other service provider.

    Default mobile disconnection

    Respected Sir,

    My Name is DR JOSHI ANAND KERKETTA, CHIEF CONSULTANT PEDIATRICIAN, THE MISSION HOSPITAL, DURGAPUR, 713212, WEST BENGAL.

    I am a sincere and honest citizen. I have a vodafone connection, mobile number 8768991174. I got this connection 3 months back. For some reason my connection was barred by the company. I wen to the VODAFONE MINI STORE in BIDHAN NAGAR, DURGAPUR, WEST BENGAL from where I got the SIM. I was told my documents were not right and so the connection has been stopped. So i again submitted my documents to the same store and promised that the connection will be back in 48 hours. It did not happen and so i rang up the customer care but that did nor prove to be fruitful. I have contacted them twice and visited the store upteen number of times with no help.

    Could you guide me as to what I should do. There is a lot of balance in my pre paid connection otherwise i would have just thrown the SIM away and got a new network connection after cursing the VODAFONE COMPANY.

    Hoping that someone will help me through this.

    Default Phone Disconnected/Deactivated

    Hello, This is in regards to my prepaid Mobile Phone Number 9899400406 which is my name for last more than 6 years. Request you to please restore/reactivate this number to my name as I am having this number since long and distributed this number to my relative/friends and business and cannot afford to loose. This number has been deactivated 2 days before, and I immediately approached to Vodafore Care Centre, Lal Quarter where Mr. Saurabh has assured me to reactivate this connection. Also I submitted my all documents photo ID, Address & ID Proof to him and now, he told me that this number has been gone back to Vodafore Essar and we cannot help you. Since, I am having a balance of INR 150 (Approx). please look into this matter as I did not have any issue with Vodafone and always appreciate good services and faith with Vodafone Essar.     Hello Sir/Madam,

    I require Consumer court's help as I am extremely unhappy about the service provided by Vodafone. On 9/4/2012 I was speaking to one of the executive from Vodafone and was asking to him about the Bonus cards for call cutting rates. he provided the info. After the conversation with him I received a message in my mobile from Vodafone to call to 121 toll free for further offer details. I was travelling to my office and meanwhile in my touch phone # 5 was pressed and I received a dialogue that "the service will be activated soon". I immediately called to 198 toll free and informed the same to one of the executive and he informed me that the service is not activated. after the conversation with him I received a message from Vodafone that "Rs 20 is successfully deducted from my balance". I again called to 198 and spoke to "pruthivi" the Vodafone care executive and told the same and he said me that Rs 20 will not be refunded. I asked him to transfer the call to a manager or a supervisor he was rude and said he will not be transferring this call to a manager or a supervisor. He told me that it is informed by his mamager not to refund any amount deducted by the IVR. I called number of times on the same day and none of them transferred the call to a manager or a supervisor to address me.

    The day was passed. on 10/4/2012 I spoke to an executive and she transferred to a manager called "Manju" spoke to him about the history and he told me that he will not be able to refund Rs 20 but he can de-activate the service. I asked him to register a complaint he said no complaints will be registered. I asked him the reference # he provided me the docket # 308586138

    Please help me.
