    Default Complain aginst Voda Phone Company

    Dear Sir,I am thePrepaid Customerof Voda Phone, last 5 or 6 Years and my mobile
    no. 9830007283. I have registered this number under DND scheme 2 years ago but I
    have receiving promotional call regularly. Tomorrow (date 27/06/2009) I have
    received a call from mobile no.983644748 for convertion of prepaid to post paid of
    my no. The caller told me “ I am calling from Voda Phone”. She was pressurized to me
    for this and she was misbehaved with me after that she was line disconnected. 
    Then I was revert on that number but she was not picked the my phone. In this matter
    I have complain to Voda Phone Customer Care under complain no. 814536888. Again
    Today (Date 28/06/2009) at 10.15 A.M. I have received a call from Mobile No.
    9836448872 and the caller told me “ I am calling from Voda Phone ”. She wants to
    sale me prepaid to post paid connection. She told me own name Simanti. Then I have
    told to her why you are disturbing me, this no. is registered under DND. Again she
    misbehaved with me. After that a person MR. Borango came on line and told me if will
    not call to u then how we will eat (Agar humlog Aapko call nahi karenege to khainge
    kaise.) After that I had called to Voda Phone customer Care regarding the above
    matters and I want to launch complain in this matter. Mr Mukesh (Customer care)
    refused to take my complain and my line was transfer to senior Mr Aditya. He also
    refused to take the complain. And he transfer to line Ms. Sangita (Floor Manager).
    She was again refused to take complain. Then I was told to Ms. Sangita , if you not
    register my complain then I will not disconnect the line. After 1hrs 20 minutes she
    take the my complain under complain no. 815337076. I want to say following
    things:

    Why I am getting promotional call when I was registered under DND Services.
    why I have received 2  promotional calls from Voda phone in gap of 20Hrs.
    Why the are misbehaved with me.
    Why I have wasted my important time ( About 1hrs 20mins) for registration of my
    Compalin.I have done any thing wrong with the Voda Phone Company, if No then why I
    am harassed by the company.  Always I feel that the customer care don’t want to
    take any complain.Plz help meWith RegardsRaj

    Complaint agaist Voda phone: last 2 months or more limited coverage , no emails, sound drop off. Not happy lost clients and ATO communications and driving school clients. On the following number:

    Dear Sir,
    I had applied for a Blackberry connection the Vodafone 299 pack and that states I get everything besides internet free. Now at the end of the month I check my Bill i am charged Rs.1,500 for Vodafone Live on calling the call center they tell me instead of using Blackberry the phone was using Vodafone Live! when I had not even requested for its activation. On emailing the corporate team they told me that i had used WAP from my phone intentionally and that is impossible as their usage shows that I have been using the facility avery single day at the same time every day like 6 times in an hour for 24 hours and 12 days continously at the exact same intervals which leads me to believe I was using the BlackBerry service only which they refuse to accept and keep giving me one staple response. please Help and advise on how to proceed

    Hi Please find below the long mail I wrote to them and the standard response I got from them twice. They presume people are fool's and I would take all this pain If the amount had been accurtely billed

    At the outset we regret the inconvenience caused

    We would like to inform you that ongoing through your bill it is noticed that there is no discrepancy in your bill and the browsing charges are valid

    We would like to inform you that Blackberry 299 pack provides the below mentioned services: Unlimited Email, Messenger Access only.

    Please be informed Blackberry 299 does not support browsing and when you tried browsing on your phone,the Vodafone Live browser for Wap service is being used up and hence you are being charged 10p per 10kb for the same.

    In case you need further assistance, do call or email us, we will do our best to help you.

    Hi Allan,
    I appreciate the courtesy in the reply - However I would like to content the
    following points.

    1. If you notice the extract of the bill attached below you will clearly
    notice that the DATA connection has been repeated at the exact intervals
    from the 23rd of December onwards. And UNLESS I was an extremely
    co-ordinated person I would absolutely be unable to open my browser and
    access my internet at the exact same moments every single day for so many
    days. Especially 24 Hours Round starting from 12:00Am in the morning when I
    being a human do go to sleep. And if you notice it goes on all the way upto
    23:00 hours again being repeated at the same intervals. And I am not a
    technician and am unaware of how such a usage of WAP Could occur without my
    knowledge when the phone is with me throughout the day.
    2. MOST IMPORTANTLY Your website and most of your authorized centers told
    me clearly that with the 299 Plan I would be unable to access the internet.
    And knowing that I did not even attempt to access online services. I would
    use my laptop when needed. Now if you are showing me using interned through
    any means be it WAP or otherwise when you have clearly mentioned with the
    299 plan I would not have access to normal browsing and enterprise email
    then I do not see why I should pay for it, when I have clearly not used it.
    3. You will note that I had never requested for Vodafone Live! activation
    after activating my Blackberry so the very fact that it is using those
    services baffles me. When you will be aware that a Blackberry does not give
    you the option of turning of only a particular service and when u turn of
    DATA in a BB all services are automatically turned off including BB. and
    Vodafone being aware of these things (If they are not aware they should be)
    should have automatically transferred all services to BB as no person in his
    right mind would use both or even need both. There was a lack of prudence
    from the side of Vodafone.
    4. Another discrepancy with the bill that you failed to sort earlier is
    the following 175.65Rs It is clearly mentioned in your website that
    after paying 299 I would not be charged for any of the BB services and
    internet would not be allowed yet I am charged this additional amount
    besides the 299. Which leads me to believe an intent to deceive or defraud
    the customer.

    5. I appreciate and understand and hope that none of this has been done
    with an intent to deceive me. However I'm sure that you will understand my
    contention of not willing to pay for a facility or service that I have
    absolutely not used. And hence it would be immoral to ask for payment or
    collect payment for a service that has not been used by me. And you must
    understand that I am paying my bills before due ddate and sometimes much in
    excess of actual amount, like last time I paid extra 500Rs above Bill Value,
    so i have no problem monetarily paying the Bill. But I will absolutely not
    pay the Bill till it is sorted out and both the amounts are written off and
    I am given some compensation for the trouble and If that means I cannot
    continue with Vodafone so be it. I will be sad to loose an amazing service
    provider but I will not Act callously or carelessly and pay an Amount
    Abnormally beyond my Usage.

    As A Remedy I would truly appreciate if this were cleared and sorted out as
    soon as possible. And such incidents are never again repeated in the future
    as I have always had VODAFONE in the highest respect and would hate to loose
    that.

    I will understant if the email and issue needs to be taken up with top
    management and will appreciate If the issue is escalated as soon as
    possible. I have taken considerable time to write this email and reaffirm my
    opinion so I hope that I will not get another response with the same
    contention from your end. And if your contention is the same I would
    appreciat a call from your end.
