    Default Harassment from a Lady for bill payment in Airtel

    Dear Sir/madam,

    I was the old customer of airtel. I disconnected my connection due to non availability of service to the place where i moved.
    My balance ammount was 3304.82.

    Initially i had paid 2500 as the deposit and i had discoonected my phone on 2nd of sept.
    My bill date is 10th of sept. So when we calculate that it will be 450rs less to the bill

    So i need to pay 3304.82 - 2500-450 = 354.82

    I got call from Billing department. lady calleed Jenifer. She asked me to make payment of 1000 or else i need to attend the court tomorrow to pay the same.


    So please have a look at it and tell me what to do?

    Dear Sir,

    SIM card # 9591204849,account number 1024391215.
    Bill No.: 523575911 & 548143384.

    I had purchased an Airtel Broadband connection(Data Card) bearing SIM card # 9591204849,account number 1024391215 in June 2011.
    I lost the Airtel data card couple of weeks after the purchase date after which I called the customer care and requested for
    immediate disconnection on 23rd/24th June for which they told they will do it.

    After couple of months(July & August 2011) I started getting calls from Customer Care asking me to pay the bill that they had generated after for the service which I have not used since I had lost the data card and had requested for disconnection in June itself.

    I do not wish to pay the bill the is generated for months July & August 2011 as I had already requested for disconnection in June 2011.
    When I cross checked the same with airtel executive, he told me that the services were only barred and not disconnected.

    I complained the same by visiting the Jayanagar Airtel office and also had mailed nodalofficer.kk@in.airtel.com regarding this on Aug 29th but they did not take any action. They were repeadtedly calling/mailing me and also had sent an outsourced agent guy(non-airtel representative)
    to my house demanding to pay the outstanding amount.

    I do not take the responsibility of the present situation since I had complained for the immediate disconnection after I lost the data card and I am not the user of this connection any more.

    I request you to update your database with this information of the connection which I have lost long back and also stop calling/mailing me regarding the bill.

    Hello,

    I am facing issue with Airtel broadband connection closure. I was not interested in continuing services and I asked for closing of connection in the month of May 2011. Airtel customer care called me several times and asked me why I was not interested and persisted with offers if I could transfer the connection to my friends. I agreed and had the connection transferred to my neighbor. I paid all my dues before transfer and made the transfer, even after my neighbor submitted application and had it processed, Airtel Billed the amount on my name and looks like they didn't process the request from my neighbor about changing the bill plan from 1000RS to 400RS.

    I am still receiving calls and I kept on explaining that this happened and many customer care representatives assured that I won't get any more calls but I still am receiving the calls.

    My Airtel number was 08413401793.
    and cancellation request number was 613252

    Could you please look into this?
