    Default Mobile billing Issue (BHARTHI-AIRTEL)

    Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to inform you that my wife working in a private firm and she has got an Airtel Post paid connection and she has been using for the period of one year and last November month i took a CUG Connection with Airtel behalf of my wife account and Number allotted to me:9600023051and I have paid my first month bill to Airtel before on 9th January 2009.

Suddenly on 17th January 2009,i got the letter from Bharthi-Airtel stated that my mobile number is:9600081684 and i have not made any payment against this number and the bill amount is Rs.3,144 and also they have stated that with in 21st of January 2009 you have to pay the amount, otherwise we will take the legal action against us.After i got the 9600023051 number from airtel i have received more than 10 calls from customer care executive in order to vefify my address and mobile number and what is the relationship and all.

But how suddenly this number was allotted and how cheating they have made to us,I request you to take necessary action against Bharthi -Airtel,so that none of them can affect like us and also they should scrutinise the bill before they sending to the customer.

    Thanks

    Hello,

This is a very serious issue and we have to take a legal action against them, you can easily drag them to the consumer court, kindly do some basic formalities as a proof. Firstly send a notice to the Airtel regarding your problem and mention all the details in the notice and wait for at least 15 days for their reply, and if still they will not solve the issue then ontact us again. We will surly help you.

    Thanks

Default mobile billing complaint -- bharti airtel

    Dear sir/ madam

we had 3 mobile connections with airtel till may this year. in may we were delayed in making our payment so our phones were completely cut off around the 2oth of may. therefore i went to the airtel indiranagar, bangalore office to make the payment.
i got the break up for the 3 connections as inr 1235.00. i was told i could pay for all three connections on the same cheque but i needed to mention the three numbers on the cheque which was duly done. h/e by mistake i filled up up the bank of india cheque number 054764, dated 22 may 2009 for inr 1973.00, an excess of inr 738.00. we decided it could be adjusted in the next bill & dropped off the cheque in the drop box outside the office.
the amount was debited from my boi a/c on the 25th may. h/e we were constantly harrassed by the airtel customer service saying we had not made the payment. we gave them details of the cheque on the phone, in person & also mailed them all the details with scanned copy of the cheque & the bank passbook with the relevant line highlighted. there was no reply to this mail. then in october we get a notice asking to attend the bangalore civil court on the 7th of november to settle the matter, failing which they would file a criminal case against us. i duly went there with all the relevant papers. when i presented proofs of payment i was told that there were further unpaid bills after the 20th of may, the unpaid amount being inr 2471.00. i asked them 1) how this could be when all 3 phones were cut off on the 20th may.2) why we were not informed of this earlier, 3)why we never recieved the bills, 4)where were the bill copies, saying if you make an allegation this serious then you should carry proof. h/e all the airtel representatives there looked blank & asked me for my email id to mail the bill copies to me. they have yet to get in touch with me. please advise how i am to proceed with further as am unable to concentrate on anything with this isssue hanging over my head. the airtel representatives' whole attitude was as if we were at fault & no one even bothered to read my mails or check on the details presented by me. therefore i really want to make this issue, as i dont think any consumer deserves this treatment & it is more despicable when the consumer is completely in the right.

    regards

Default Wrong information from the customer care making me pay a huge amount

I was given wrong information by the customer care executive regarding the call costs on my change bill plan. He said that intra-calling service was free to one of the numbers i had taken, as an add on card(i took the offer from Airtel gallery,Dadar). But then in my bill all those calls were charged. On my repeated intimations to the customer care and the gallery, they said that the matter will be solved and money will be refunded. The refund they gave was very less and did not match the total cost of the no of calls. I later told them to terminate my no. I got a call from Airtel which said if i pay Rs.200 they will terminate my no. Rs.200 were just deducted from my bill...My no. was not terminated. Now they are asking me to pay the bill which costs around Rs.1200 or so.I got a mail saying they will solve the matter legally. I cannot pay such huge amount, just because i got wrong information from the customer care executive. No customer deserves this. The executives are not trained enough and the customers have to pay for it. Please help
