Respected Sir,

I had taken an airtel postpaid connection. I was facing serious network problem. Every time I make a call, the call used to get cut and many times the signal used to go off. I called them repeatedly and told them my problem. They said that there was a problem near my home and they have fixed the issue now. But still I was facing the issue. On calling multiple times they did not do anything. So i started sending mails to customer care in order to have proof of the issue I am facing with airtel. In the mail they said they would solve the issue but they never bothered to even call me inspite of sending several mails. Finally I got fed up and send them a mail saying that I want to close the connection and that they should send me the bill so that i can clear the dues. But then they were migrating to a new server and did not send bills for that month to any customer. And they told me that without paying the bill they will not deactivate the connection. So because of their issues I was unable to close the connection. So i stopped using the sim and decided that I will not pay the bill since they had not solved my problem and because of them I faced so much inconvinience. Also I was ending up paying more since for every call that got cut I had to call back again and thus pay for the extra charge. And not only that the voice quality of the call was also bad.

Now after few months they sent me the bill saying that I have to pay up or else they will take legal action against me. The bill amount that they are claiming is Rs 2235.

Please advice me on how I can proceed forward and whether I can raise a case in the consumer court against Airtel. Please note that I have all the mails which I exchanged with them which is proof where they them selves admit to the bad quality of service provided by them.
