I got a postpaid connection registered by my name , phone number 9717697958 Account number 102-103178411 was issued by Airtel , I gaveit to my friend Ms Vijaya Singh (R/O 27D, Ist floor, Bangali Colony Ekta Enclave, Bangiya Parishad, Paschim Vihar, Nivedita Enclave A6). She has made certain payments on this number the last payment made by her was on 3rd Dec 08.
Since then she has been using this phone number and has not made any payment. I started receiving call from Airtel in Feb 09 regarding the bill payments of this number (9717697958). As the primary phone on which the payment was due was disconnected by Airtel due to non payment of bill and they call on the alternate phone number (9971394649) which I am using.
Airtel has been trying to get the payment cleared from last 3 to 4 months (as per the email attached from one of the Airtel Collections Manager).
Now as it was becoming impossible for Airtel collections team to hold the payment on this account they have warned me to get the payment cleared or legal action would be executed. So I have made the payment of 11,106 INR on behalf of Ms. Vijaya Singh.
One of the Airtel representatives also went to Vijaya’s home and her parents acknowledged that this Airtel number (9717697958) was with Vijaya.
As I have made the payment on a number used by Ms. Vijaya Singh (R/O 27D, Ist floor, Bangali Colony Ekta Enclave, Bangiya Parishad, Paschim Vihar, Nivedita Enclave A6). Please help me with legal precedings as how i can get my money back from her
