Airtel Postpaid service I asked for my airtel postpaid number 9867636060 to be disconnected in June 2008.
On May 25th 2009 I receive a bill for outstanding payment for unpaid monthly rental until March 13 2009 minus security deposit.
Airtel never disconnected the service after acknowledging my request over the phone.
When i called them on 25th May 2009 for an explanation of the new bill I was told that Airtel disconnected the service on their side. There was no request from my side as per Airtel.
I was told that there is no disconection request number, and that I should have asked for one on the phone.
Am I supposed to know this process in advance? I was never intimated about the process by Airtels customer service representative.
What options do I have here?
