Default Committed service not activated and faulty billing done

    Hi,
I purchased a new Airtel prepaid connection in Pune (from Airtel showroom, FC Road), on June 6-7, 2010. I was committed for an SMS plan, details of which are as follows:
First 3 SMS's (local / national) per day to be charged @50P/SMS, and thereafter 200 SMS's to be given free for the day.
But since day 1, I'm continuously being charged for my ALL NATIONAL SMS'es! Just for information, another friend of mine who bought the same plan is enjoying it as told, since beginning.
It's been 6 months, and I've tried getting the issue resolved through the telephonic helpline, through e-mail helpline, through Nodal officers (2nd level of escalation), and even Appellate officers (HIGHEST LEVEL OF ESCALATION in the hierarchy of customer care)! Despite of calling and e-mailing innumerable times, and going through a mental agony and a feeling of harassment, the ISSUE STILL STANDS UNRESOLVED!

    Airtel officers involved so far:
Sales person who gave me the connection- Mr Abhijit
Nodal officer handling the case- Ms Arpana
Appellate officers who have handled the case so far- Ms Nisha Rajput, Mr Sudarshan (on telephone),
And Ms Kavita Sakpal, Ms Deepika Bedi, Ms Rashi Devendra!
Just for information, Appellate help desk is supposedly the highest level escalation in the hierarchy in Airtel Customer Service!

I'm already under a undue loss of over Rs 1,000 accumulated over these months, and still increasing day-by-day. Really seek to get help from the consumer court in the matter.

    Connection details:
    Name- Anuj Gupta
    No- 95611 99969

Friend's connection (on which plan is working):
    Name- Nimisha Mishra
    No- 99757 66776

Expecting to get a positive response and support soon.

    Sincere Regards,
    Anuj Gupta

    Dear Rakesh,
I've been hearing similar things for past 6 months but don't see any concrete & positive results!
Even now it's been 2 days and there's just no update yet!
    Please advice on the status.

    Thanks,
    Anuj Gupta

    Dear Rakesh,
It's been over a month, and I haven't heard of any update yet!
Is there any work done in the Airtel's service department at all? I've found the service to be highly lethargic, inefficient & disappointing. Good for nothing!

    No regards,
    Anuj Gupta
