    Default Airtel Billing complaint

    Sir,

    I would like to bring to your notice a case of Fraudulent Billing from
    Airtel.

    I was subscribed to Airtel number 91.9741066255 under the IBM Corporate
    Plan. Its an Airtel Bangalore Number and I made a request with Airtel
    Karnataka to put this number in safe custody in November 2008, since I was
    no longer using the number, and wanted to retain the number for my future
    usage.

    However I was surprised to see Airtel billing me Rs. 529.00 for making
    calls from this number (91.9741066255) between Jan 02, 2009 and Feb 01,
    2009, inspite of the fact that I was not using the number and having
    already making a request with Airtel to put this number in the safe
    custody to avoid any kind of misuse.

    Since this number was part of the IBM Corporate Plan scheme with an auto
    debit option, the amount was deducted from my Credit Card.


    Today when I contacted customer care for getting information about how
    Airtel could charge me for calls, when as per the safe custody procedure,
    no out-going or in-coming calls can be made from that number, I was
    astounded to hear that:
    1. Airtel Karnataka had no details of the bill being generated for this
    number.
    2. No details of the money being credited to the Airtel Account from the
    credit card auto debit was available with Airtel.

    If that's not all, the Supervisors at Airtel Karnataka I spoke to today
    told me that:
    1. As per the Airtel records the request for safe custody was made on Nov
    14, 2008. However for reasons best known to Airtel Karnataka, they
    activated the safe custody for the number only on Jan 08, 2009.
    2. Also the safe custody for a number was withdrawn by Jan 21, 2009
    without any reason given for the same.

    I would like to proceed to court of law and legally challenge Airtel India
    in the Consumer Court for:
    1. Charging me for calls never made by me especially during the safe
    custody period.
    2. For not adhering to my request of keeping the number in the safe
    custody in the timeline that I had requested for.

    Please advise, what is the procedure to move a court of law in the
    Consumer Forum. I am enclosing the soft copy of the Airtel Bill and the
    Credit Card Bill for your reference.

    Default billing issue

    In month of june I lost my Air tel card 9004694863
    I made a call to customer care to disconnect the line, he assure me will do the needful.
    But in next month I received a bill, once again i call to customer care and ask for the same
    I havent make any call from the card, please disconnect the number
    But still I am receiving the bill.
    Though I am not using the number.

    Angry Plan change of airtel

    Dear Sir,
    I am an airtel postpaid customer with this mobile no 9902166976.

    I was running with a plan 199, and i felt it to be very costly so i requested airtel customer care through
    hotline of airtel outlet malleshwaram, to change my plan to 399 on 24/02/2010.

    Then i came to know that it has not been changed so i requested again to airtel on 05/03/2010.

    As my billing cycle in on 09 th of every month, i just checked but it was not yet updated and till now 17/03/2010
    i am still running with the same old plan.

    So kindly bill me 09/03/2010 to 09/04/2010 according to the 399 plan, as i requested around 15 days before ma billing cycle.

    your billing counter closed 8.30pm so i have not setisfide. i am come home in night 8.30pm so i cant pay bill . so i want to 24 hours bill payment sestem. like vodafone

    Default Bill Settlement

    Hii,
    This is to bring to your notice that i am using an airtel postpaid connection (Corporate Connection)..There were some settlement issues regarding my no....I had a word with the airtel personnel many times but they failed to come in at my place at the desired times and it went 3-4 times in a row....It seems that Airtel no longer wants to settle on my account as i have to call for the same many times for settlement rather than Airtel....

    In case they want to settle on my account they are readily welcome..

    She discussed with me on 21st of Jan'11 & assured me to resolve the issue.



    Whereas again on 23rd Jan’11 she says that my complaint is about slow browsing & How can somebody give you complain in writing for billing & over phone, he would be saying something else & your executive would not even have objection for the same.



    We request you to please appoint somebody with better understanding & common sense to handle this issue.

    We have been using this number from a long time as phone and internet connection.



    We had requested for higher speed (upgrade of plan) which we were told would be done in maximum 24hrs, later said minimum 3days.



    After many reminder overphone for 5 to 6days there was no response every time your technical & customer care was saying give us more time that is all.



    On 6th day of request we called up & said please don't do it now as we have arranged for alternate.



    Since than there was no communication at all, we have received the bills with upgraded plan. The day we received the bill we called up customer care made the complaint but action has been consider at all.



    We had to pay the full bill, now even on the IInd month we have received the same bill with upgraded plan.



    Please advise otherwise our relationship with you end here.

    Thumbs down AIRTEL activating services on its own

    Sir,
    I, Shive Rattan Sharma, have been using an airtel number 9818448572 for many years but over a period of last 1-2 months they have started activating schemes on their own. First there activated a scheme TALK2ME for which they charged me rs.15. when I deactivated it they activated another scheme CALL MANAGER for which they charged me rs.30. after i deactivated this scheme they activated another scheme for which they deducted rs.60 from my balance. I am fed up of this and require your help to stop such fraudulent activities of this company. Please take necessary action & get my money refunded.
