    SUBJ: Complain against Airtel for extra bill after deactivation of datacard

    I bought a Airtel Data Card no.9560732233 in 1st Jan 2010 and a Data Card 599 Plan was activated on it. I was not able to use video chating it due to poor connectivity and excruciatingly slow speed. I purchased data card from the following airtel authorised shop and they guarrended video chating with my toshiba laptop conf. 3gb ram +320 harddisk. i did try upto 7th jan 2010 for video chating/net use, but video chating is not possible, then just contact with shop and they told me that to bring back device , i got money after 10 % deduction. also i requst to disconnect my data card, they told me that to contact with custmer care and also pay upto date bill, i contact with cunstmer on 9th jan 2010, and put a request for immediate disconnect, I got a Request ticket no. F619289185. from custmer care dept.

    data card purchased shop address :

    arc code: AE014, NAME : KRISHNA TELECOM, 118 DEEP ENCLAVE ASOK VIHAR, PHASE 3, NEW DELHI.

    The airtel executive informed that concern has been noted and will do the needful. For next 2day I got frequent calls from Airtel people enquiring for use of sim in post paid connection , i refused that request.

    After one week i got a bill date 9th jan 2010, bill period 08th dec to 07th jan 2010, amt. 497.85.

    I paid on 27-01-2010, and closed the account

    next month i got another bill and sent email at airtelpresence@airtel.in, so many times, but getting reply only mail reced confirmation system related msg. still i hv not received any reply from airtelpresence@airtel.in, 121@airtelindia.com, or nodel officer delhi, but regularly getting phone calls, finally i got total outstanding bill for Rs 1397.

    2 months before i just contact with billing dept head mr. alli, he agreed to closed the account, every time junier officers are calling and they are not hearing from my side, they are tell that customer care staff did not forward any request to billing dept. regarding data card disconnect.

    is it customer falt or responsibility? all customers contacting for any request to customer care only and no more idea about billing dept.


    Kindly advise me how to go ahead in this matter as I want to close this matter or what are the other options available for me

    Did you recieve a resolution on this? Am having a similar issue with a service provider for which the first level folks are not listening at all.

    i have been facing problem from airtel services since lat 6 months.problems are deducting balence without any reasons.
