Thumbs down billing complaint regarding vodafone company

    hello sir
i just want to enhance my voice against these well reputed companies who are losing their reputation just because of some irresponsible acts by their managers , actually i have deposited my vodafone bill of sep. on dated-25/sep/08, receipt no-3697 , Rs.500 cash ,in one of the vodafone mini stores named -CANDY TELECOM , Add.-shop no.35 , rishi nagar , ludhiana-141001. but later on i was being told that my sep,08 bill is not been updated yet , i went to mall road branch office of vodafone store , i faxed my receipt no and all details to mohalli head office many a times , but they didnt replied , and asked me to deposit 500 amount again but i didnt deposit that Rs.500 amount again , as a result they started charging late payment charges in my next couple of bills so i was pressurised to make the excess 500 payment to vodafone company so as to continue my connection , after that also i went on asking them to reverse my excess payment made from last 6 months but they didnt , so i decided to complaint against them , now i came under your hands to get some justice , if possible , sir the thing is its not just that 500 is that much bigger amount for me but i cant allow any to hurt my self respect , i spent thousands of rupees on my convience to vodafones store mall road regarding this complaint , so i just want you to do right justice with me and give these companies a lesson who are thinking to cover up their losses in this recession time like this.
i have full faith in you sir , hope for a soonest action from your side.
    thanks
    regards

Post Vodafone Billing complain for 3G

    Phone No: 9820154073

    Bill No: 000000010001623260

    Bill Period: 25.10.11 to 24.11.11

I write in regards to a dispute relating to my cellular data usage. After number of phone calls and email exchanges i finally received the itemized bill. All this while i have been arguing with Ms. Christina Patne and Ms. Rupali Prabhu from the Appellate office about the no of KB's used in the last billing cycle. I stand vindicated about the dispute. Please note that practically all through out the month (for 29 DAYS) there has been a nominal data usage. There is a bill amount of 1246 INR only for 22.11.11. How do you think i can utilize 1246 Rs worth of data in just one day?!

Compare this with my usage of the rest of the 89 Days (3 Months since I subscribed) I have used the 3G service. My average bill for the entire month is 500 Rs. It is absurd on your part to think that I can actually use all this data just in one day! I repeat again all I use the 3G service for is chats or emails. For the rest of the stuff I have a WI-FI connection at my office and home. The billing for the 89 days is a proof of that. I feel strongly that there is an error in the Vodafone's systems.

The most shocking thing is the behavior of the Appellate authorities. Both Christina & Rupali have been most unhelpful.

Vodafone disappoints me. Not because i have to pay more money then i think i ought to, but because of the nature of the response. I think the whole point of having the appellate office come into play is because they can actually investigate the complain of a customer. Not write back mails that are of robotic in nature. We all know that you can’t possibly admit or agree to the fact that your system can be at fault. Or it can over charge.

So here I am again challenging your claims. I'll be very happy to pay whatever amount you want me to, provided you can prove to me that data you claim has been used by me in ONE DAY!

I hope you have the system record to know that I’m a customer of Vodafone since last 11 YEARS. You can see for yourself in this period, how many times such counter claims have been made. If you still insist that what you have charged me is right without giving any further explanation consider this customer as lost.

    I await your reply.

    Thanks

Default Vodafone Billing complain for 3G

    Hello Vodafone

I do acknowledge the emails you sent. But they do not offer any explanation. They are the standard mails you send everyone - just as the one mentioned below. This mail is not for the reversal. As a good customer i have already paid the amount.

All i want is an explanation about the usage. How do you explain the inconsistencies which are of this magnitude? When my average usage for the period of 4 months since i subscribed to 3G is 500Rs - How can you possibly charge me 1246Rs just for 1 DAY? Thats a jump of approximately 1500% from my average daily use! Are you even getting the point i'm trying to make?

Besides you are conveniently not mentioning your customer service executive Mr. Harkesh Rajput who admitted to me during the conversation that sometimes the Vodafone systems do generate wrong data in the 3G service.

Whoever is reading this - Please be warned. Vodafone works like an autocratic company which does feel the need to offer any explanation even if there is an exponential jump in the billing amount. If they can do this to a 11year old customer- you can imagine how someone new would be treated!

    Best of luck!
