Hi I am using two number of vodafone. Due to some personal reasons I was not able to make the payment of both the no. in month of December 08 and January 09. I informed Vodafone the same in advance about non payment and the date when I was going to make payment by Email. On January 31, 09 I visited Vodafone store to make the payment. I asked the executive to swipe my card for total outstanding amount for both the but he told me that its not possible and he will only swipe for one bill. Hence I paid other bill by cash. At the automated cash accepting machine I gave the full cash to vodafone executive who deposited 2000 into the machine. After accepting 2000 Rs. machine stopped working. Executive restarted the machine and deposited 160 Rs. I received the printed bill for Rs 160 and executive added 2000 Rs Manually with his signature. I immediately showed the bill to update my payment.
But the executive did not updated payment properly. In My next bill shoed Rs 394 outstanding. I visited the vodafone store Parle and informed them that I made full payment but unfortunately at that time I was not carrying the receipt. I repeatedly called the helpline for updating my payment but they asked me to visit the store with the receipt. I told them that it is not possible me to visit the store. I mailed them that if they wish to check the receipt they can contact and visit my residence for verification. I received no reply I also asked them to disconnect my both no with effective from 06/03/2009 (which is my billing cycle date). Till date my no are not disconnected.
They also charged Rs 199 extra on my other mobile no. four months back. Till date this amount is not reversed. Please advise should I take legal action against Vodafoen?

Regarding the below mentioned qery I visited the J.B. Nagar galery of vodafone with the payment reciept arround mid March. On that day they were facing system issue so for updation of payment I visited Vile parle galary. The executive (Nandkumar) talked with me harshly and was not ready to update or help me. Vodafone disconnected my sevices arround 13 March. I again visited vodafone galery J.B. Nagar with xerox copy of the reciept. I submitted reciept and ask for correct bill. Executive told me that I will get new and correct bill in four or five days where my payment will be correctly updated.
I recieved my bill on 10 th April 2009. No correction was made to my no. secondly for my other no the bill was wrongly generated. I have CUG 199 plan where first 200 Local mins are free for both the no. but second no was charged at local rate for first two hundred mins.
I have written a complaint today to vodafone's corporate office for explanation and I am sending copy of that letter to Mumbai Grahak Panchayat. I have spent lot of time, efforts and money to update my payment. I have asked for compansation in this letter . So Please advise What ever step I am taking is correct or not??

I am not at agree wiht the billed charged by you for ISD of Rs. 726.01, the call
charges at Switzerland, Because I have nobody to call at Switzerland, and the
timings for the 3 days, which u mentioned on the Bill is my office Timings, that
time I am not attending the Mobile also. How it could be posssible that I called on
different no. at same Destination.
Sorry, but i am not going to pay a single rupee for the ISD charges, which i never
dialed.
1) Date : 28/04/2009 - i recd. sms from you that - As per your request the Vodafone
live service deactivated from your mobile - i hv nothing requested to activate or
deactivate.
2) Date : 27/04/2009 - I recd. sms from you that - Thank u for payment of Rs. 320/-
and u have received free pack of Rs. 50/- sms - this payment was for last month.
funny msgs from your side.
Now u charged me ISD of Rs 726/-, this is not at all used by me.
I request you to again kindly look into the matter & revert soon.
