I am Vijeta, from Hyderabad.
On 2nd March 2010, I used the GPRS service in my prepaid Airtel mobile phone (9701005896) to check my emails. Usually I am charged about 30- 60 paise for browsing my mails. However, on 2nd March, I was charged Rs. 47 although I didn't download anything worth that amount. The next day, I recharged my mobile for Rs. 222 and soon after that there was a message stating that Rs. 221 has been deducted. Although I have launched a complaint to the customer care service at Airtel, I am not being explained why so much many is being deducted, when I haven't downloaded anything from the internet. Also, more and more money is being deducted with every recharge.Because of this problem, ever since 3rd of March I am left with only 12 paise in my account and this is making me feel totally helpless.
Its been 5 days since I launched a complaint at Airtel and my situation hasn't improved. Please help me.
