Hi,
I am in conversation with my client (based in USA) over the telephone. Client Company has toll free number and for last 2 years I am making calls on that number using my Vodafone post paid connection and never charged for it. But a month back i converted my post paid in to prepaid connection and after that vodafone started charging on the same toll free number. I contacted vodafone customer care and they said this is toll free number in postpaid but not in prepaid. This was not digestible to me. I wrote complaint on vodafone customer care email id but the answer was vague and same as was said by the executive. I have replied the email for more precise answer but they are not responding me although i am getting acknowledgement email.
Vodafone is not giving any answer for the following question.
1. How a number is toll free in postpaid but not in prepaid?
2. If for them this is not a toll free number then why they deducted local call rate on ISD number (Number belongs to USA), Why they didn't applied standard ISD rate?
3. Why this number is toll free from reliance or airtel and other prepaid network but not in vodafone?
I am feeling cheated and want to give them a lesson. Please help.
Thanks
Rakesh Ranjan
