    My airtel postpaid mobile connection is 9906241095. I paid Rs-500 on 09 jan 2010 as against payable billed amount of Rs 389.39 (as on 06 jan. 2010 to be paid by 24 jan 2010) for the billing cycle starting from 05th of Dec. 2009 to 4th of jan. 2010. Until 7th of jan. 2010 my unbilled usage was Rs. 32.70 but on 08th of jan. 2010 it shot up exponentially to Rs. 717.60 and remained increasing day by day although I am sure that I have not used my mobile connection for such a huge amount and that too in a single day. Moreever on so called grounds of unbilled amount exceeding the credit limit of Rs. 400 they disconnected my outgoing services and GPRS facility without prior information to me on the intervening night of 11th and 12th jan 2010. Such are the discrepencies in their system that although the outgoing facility is barred, the unbilled usage have been increasing from Rs.1001.95 (as on 11.01.2010) to Rs.1073.45 (as on 12.01.2010).
    **********When I contacted the airtel customer care on 11th and 12th jan 2010 time and again ( Airtel Customer Care 121 Refrence Nos:- F620448110, 30399861, F621208056, F621241575.) and their Nodal Officer on mobile no. 9797334865 but every time I called them they tell different causes for the barring of outgoing facility from my postpaid connection and demand deposition of the huge unbilled usage amount which I have never used, in order to reactivate the outgoing facility.
    ***************Kindly probe into the matter and take strict appropriate action against the unnoticeable frogery being played by this private mobile operater not only with me but with lakhs of subscribers of the state.

    Hello,

    As you mentioned that you have registered your complaint with the customer care and even you talked to your area Nodal Officer and they are failed to solve the issue so I suggest you to send a written notice to the below mentioned address of your area nodal officer via registered post (Verbal communication are not sufficient), mention your complaint in detailed manned and ask them for the reason for over limit of your bill and call details which can prove that the bill is genuine.

    Dear Sir


    On 12/04/2010 I approached Airtel Relationship Centre at Old Bus Stand, Anantnag, J&K to convert my Airtel Postpaid Connection(9906664848) to Prepaid. The person sitting behind the counter asked for proof of identification and I duly provided him a xerox copy of my official I-Card.
    However he refused to entertain the same without giving any concrete reason. I insisted that he should accept my I-Card as proof as the Postpaid Connection had been issued to me on the basis of I-Card ! However he got furious and said that it was not acceptable to him and that was it! I told him that instead of losing cool he ought to educate me about the reasons for the non-acceptance of a valid I-Card as proof and that I would escalate the matter to higher authorities but he boldly told me to do whatever I can. I called Airtel Cutomer Care and lodged a complaint. I was assured about action by 16th and was given complaint no. 31815458. However no action has been initiated so far for whatever reasons.I contacted the Customer Care several times but every time I am given a new compl aint no. ans assured of action but of no avail.
    This reflects badly on the Customer Care that Airtel boasts of.

    Default why postpaid connection is being denied in leh

    this is in connection with the denial of issuing post paid connection to me, even though i have valid id proof and require document.. when inquired with airtel customer executive staff at leh airtel office about why postpaid connection being stop, they nonchalantly replied that postpaid connection is being stoped due to non payment by some defaulter. i personally fell that this is being arbitrary and baseless contention by which airtel is suspecting everyone indirectly. however i strongly condemned this act of injustice and arbitrariness whereas airtel forced customer to use prepaid connection so that they can generate hidden revenue unlike the benefit provide by the postpaid connection. there are many precautionary measure where postpaid connection can be provide. e.g security deposit and maximum credit to customer according to previous billing record etc.

    i hope this matter will be resolved soon

    i want to bring in your notice the dilapidated condition of airtel gprs.uptil month of feb 2010 it provided a very good service but dont know wat happened after that.We click the internet button,only click our 30paise are deducted and seldom the site opens.i would simply say net service is pathetic,leave aside what airtel pewople promise.i request you to look into the matter.

    Dear Sir,

    My airtel no 9596015131
    Airtel has been deducting balance from my account on a regular basis now. Every time i call Customer care, they ask me for the same questions and give me no help. Every single time i am told that i have been using Airtel Live (internet) services when i have not been using it. I have several reference numbers sent to me (few of which i will put down below). Every single time i request them to deactivate these services permanently and i am told that it will be done in 2 hours time, but after every couple of days time they deduct balance for the same reason. And when i call Customer care again, they act rude and insult us as if we have no idea on how to use a mobile. Request you to help me regarding this since this is becoming a very irritating and frustrating issue. I have been using this sim (number) for more than 7 years now and never had i faced any such problems, i am surprised by the lack of efficiency and such behaviour from Airtel. Your Customer Care .and when we call customer care they don't pick up the phone and some times they tell us tadaka live is activated on our mobile even though we don't have the setting of airtel live they cut all the time balance at on 17 sep 2010 they deducted 20rs for the same issue. my complaint will be not solve it will go to the court.........

    I got the transfer from Mumbai to Jaipur that’s y I convert postpaid connection to prepaid.
    I already submitted the document in airtel relationship center when my postpaid connection convert to prepaid….

    First I called Airtel Customer Care, where they were not able t0 give me any
    reply as they didn't had any information about activation your prepaid card.
    Then I was informed that my no is not active through mail to 121@airtelindia.com more then 20 times. finally they revert me that my
    number has been deleted from their system due to some document problem. And
    now they are asking me to apply for a new connection and that too with some
    other number.

    This has been ridiculous. This is too stressing for me. Its not easy for me
    to switch over to a new number. I am using this number since last three years
    and this is very important for me to have this number.

    The company all of sudden can't behave so irresponsible.

    Please help me out....i want this number back any how
