    HELLO sir this is RAJAKARPAGAKANNAN.R from coimbatore ,TN.I have been using the airtel prepaid connection 9894751635 for the past 4 yrs,now with out the intimation of the customers the company automatically activates the value added services and steals the money from the customers without the customers notice . when i found my balance decreasing i contacted cust care and enquiried them they said value added service have been activated i then fought with them and they de activated the service and refunded money but again and again they are doing the same .it is not only for my no i have proof of 4 to 5 members who are undergoing the same problem . so kindly some one help me to take necessary action and so that let it be the best thing so that every customer would get benifit by the action taken

    I posted the same complaint in mobile service forum but today also my neighbours suffer the same problem so can the admin help us to solve this out and so that many would get benifited

    I agree with you and i had been victim of same type of malpractices of other mobile companies too like Reliance, Orange and Airtel too.

    This cheater companies every now and then starts any charged services without our request or demand and we have to fight back like a beggar for refund of our hard earned money.

    I have seen many small peoples suffering with such dirty tactics used by these Bastar** companies. They even don't know where to complain and how to get refund of their money. I have seen many time many illiterate peoples like drivers, mechanics or simple delivery boys wondering "Mera balance kam ho gaya!! last week rs.100/- tha abhi dekha to 75/- ho gaya!!! pata nahi kya hua??" these poor fellows gets robbed by these Fuc*** multinational crooks. In this ways this fuc*** are making lacs of ruppes every month.

    I request respectable Consumer Court to take this as a PIL (public interest litigation) and make it a law that any mobile companies can not start any value added or charged service without a proper written request by any customer. This law will save lacs of rupees of innocent people who gets pick-pocketed by these basta*** companies who always takes customers for granted and twist laws the way they wants.

    Exclamation Airtel deducts my mobile charge amount without my consent

    Dear All,

    In past one-and-half months a message comes to my mobile from Airtel like "Thanks for downloading Wallpaper, you have been charged Rs. 4", "Thanks for downloading polytone, you have been charged Rs. 3" etc. etc. I have not given my consent to any services like GPRS or WAP or Service Msgs or any other hell. If I call Customer Service they just take complaints but no solution. I have taken my complaint even up to their Supervisor but of no use. My number is 9952927741

    I got a new airtel connetcion 5 months ago and i have two issues:

    1. Unnecessary msgs and balance deductions:
    I subscribed to the DND services in December because of the unnecessary promo messages that i was receiving. Airtel was automaticlaly activating my account with unnecessary subscribtions and charging me for the same. But even after the DND activation, i was receiving promo msgs from Airtel. Later, i started getting cricket alerts for which i was charged 3 rupees everyday. On calling the CC number, i was told that the requests are coming from my number. Now i am not a fool who will first subscribe and then fight. I remember calling the CC twice in a gap of 4 days within which they are supposed to stop subscription. Every time i complained, i got a response "mam it's from ur end, we cant help". Then again one of the CCE applied DND on my phone (as much as i know u cant deactivate DND for 3 months, which means that in the first place the DND service was never activated)..anyways i had no time to fight. It was only at one instance that i was reimbursed 3 ruppees after shouting on the CCE (i have no fascination for talking to CCEs)...later it continued and i was left with no option but to just shut up and bear the pain. But what happened yesterday was a shock.

    2. Without notice balance deduction:
    I had no idea that my tariff plan was to expire on 20th March. I got my balance recharged 4-5 days ago. The total outgoing call duration was somewhere around 60 minutes whereby i should not be charged more than 30-40 bucks but i was charged around 120 bucks. Any answer to this? The company can notify one through out the day on cricket packages and ring tones, but cant ifnorm the customer about the expiry of their tariff plan. why will they when they can make money? i am sure i am not the only oen to suffer but with repeated inconvenience from the subscriber and value for my money, i want to raise my voice against the company policy.

    The only thing that the CCEs have beeing chanting since last nite is "SORRY". But i am not happy with this sorry. I want my money and mental peace back.

    Thumbs down Bogus resolutions

    The stupid network has no solution to my problem.................BUT I HAVE THE SOLUTION: LEAVING AIRTEL ON A PATHETIC NOTE.......and i wud ensure that my near and dear ones dont suffer as me.......so enjoy the loss of customers guys! Now i cant check my sms balance,..........it shows 0.00 whereas i got it recharged 2 weeks back!

    WHOEVER CONCERNED from airtel, plz reply!

    you have 1 more proof dude...i m suffering from Hungama content service ... i m still fighting to deactivate it...every month they take away my 15 rupees..

    Default Airtel harrasement for payment

    Name:- ajamtulla mohamad khan pathan
    airtel mobile no. 9004707779

    under the scheme of rs. 299/- per month above phone number was taken fr airtel.the scheme was explained to me by representative that only monthly payment under the scheme is to be paid alongwith actual calls made by me and no other hidden charges r to be paid in future. One time payment of rs. 500/- as requested was made to airtell presuming that there will be no any additional charges is required to be paid in future but in the second bill airtel projected an amount of rs. 1250/- toward one time payment for the said number when i have already paid an amount of rs. 500/- as one time payment in advance. I was not accepted this addiitional payment of rs. 1250/- at the time of accepting of the scheme and not even commencement of the scheme. I disagreed the payment of rs. 1250/- and surrendered the number for closing account. Accoridingly and as per my request airtel closed my account against closure id no. 29808079. Now frequently airtel representative and customer care people harrasing me and my family members for one time payment of rs. 1250/- for which i was not agreed at the time accepting the number and thats why i surrenderred the number. They presurising me for payment and not listning my appeal as stated above and putting all of us under undue stress and burdon and mentally tenssion .

    Pl. Look in oto the matter for closure of the issue and oblige me

    i have been watching airtel's behaviour on my mobile and on my friends and neighbours mobiles
    9790374751,9790374752,9944201340......
    these are the major complaints about them
    i am shyamprabhu from coimbatore my number is 9790374751
    i am using airtel for 3.7years from the starting each month i put Rs.149 booster and Talktime an average of Rs.200 Permonth till now 21/5/2010..i face sever problems..

    * Customer care is scolding the clients when called on 121..( i called 121 1 guy talked and said 10rs have been deduced because of change in hellotune...he talks of 10 mins by making the line to hold...then his team leader talks and says you have activated FRIENDS CHAT on 7/5/2010 and the charges Rs.10 were deduced on 21/5/2010 see the date difference.i asked for refunding the money because i didnt activate it he is just scolding...they are not proper inside)
    * Deduced BAlANCE - without doing any thing this msg appeares in screen "thank u for browsing 30.6 kb you have been charged Rs.0.60 from ur main balance" this appears to me each day up to 3times till now they have taken 60 Rs unnecessarly without doing any thing

    * saying valued added services they are stealing the customers balance(if we call 121 and talk they are not responding polietly it harases us)
    * No Network Coverage - In a day mostly many of the mobile dont get tower for few minutes .
    - Propagating virus's on MOBILE OFFICE and spoiling the mobiles.
    - after activating mobile office saying that ur still in airtel live and taking money for those which we browse on web.
    - Balance requesting (network busy) error.

    i have only 1 solution to change the network and ill pass to all the persons whome i meet daily to change the network
    from friends,parents,neighbours,3rd persons(persons whome i meet in way,buses,unknown) to change the network..if we leave this as such if will become like an CHIT FUND ROBBING.
    i have been posting these msg's in all the forms where i can put it..
    can any 1 help or have solution for this

    Exclamation No use fighting with those street dogs

    Dear all

    I've been Airtel & IDEA customer for more than 9 yrs now.

    These service providers are like rats. You cant stop them from stealing your money. No matter how many complaints you lodge or fight with them for hrs on phone, they will just take your money. Over and above it, they will charge you for talking to the customer care.

    Last week i fought with Airtel for stealing Rs399 from my account and moved to Vodafone. The very third day, Vodafone stole Rs100 from my account for unwanted auto renewal. Now with in one week, they barred my Cust Care services also for following up the 100Rs complaint.

    Trust me guys, the customer care guys are not worth our time, money, efforts and even attention. They are just robots. They give you standard answers for every problem and try to show it as its your mistake. Just think you've given that money to charity and get along. Our time is too valuable to fight with these cheapos.

    We just have to bare with these guys till Number Portability comes into effect.
