    Angry Mis-Information and Irresponsible behaviour

    I activated 98/- GPRS plan for my postpaid number ( 9731644114 ) on 7th of Feb.As I called Call center and they informed that I will be getting 2GB for that plan and activated it saying it's the best offer then.I was shocked to get a bill amount of Rs.5500 for my mobile internet usage for only 13 days since I activated the plan.And when I called customer care for clarification,they didn't bother to explain regarding the concern.My billing cycle is on 19th of every month.There is no information provided regarding this issue when I activated the offer and later I came to know when my bill came up.I raised a concern about this in March and there is no proper response from any of the executive from that time.I followed up calling to 121 every time but it's completely in vain.I told them I'm relocating to Hyderabad in April,and will not be using the number anymore.They didn't even bother to resolve the issue then.And when I moved to Hyderabad,I used the same number in roaming only to get in contact with Karnataka Airtel services but later the number got disconnected and I changed my number.I maintained contact with Airtel via E-mails,and this is not at all noticed.And I wonder after a month ( In May ) people from Airtel called to few of my friend's and relatives number's that are in my dialed list without trying to respond to my mails.And I seriously raise a concern is this so the 'Privacy Policy' that your so called esteemed company maintains.Later even when I provided my new contact number and explained my concern,they said they will call back in an hour but they didn't even called me back for any resolution.After one month I provided my new contact number,they again called my colleagues and family members for my contact number stating they are from a courier service.As I have no intention in absconding without paying the bill I myself took the number from one of my friend and called to the collection agent.As soon as I identified myself in the call to him,he started speaking in a rude language.I tried to explain the issue I have with the bill,he refused to listen and started abusing.As Im not good in Kannada,I requested him to speak in English,then he started in a slang which is not at all tolerable.I told him that Im in office and will call him in the evening again.He said he cant wait till then and literally said that he will harass everyone in my dialed list till I pay the bill.I went to the nearest Airtel outlet for informing the issue,where they told that it comes into Karnataka circle and they are helpless in there.This continued for many days and I raised a complaint to appellate officer via mail and it's also a hopeless effort.Later I called to Legal Manager and informed the issue happened.He tried to convince me for paying the amount instead of apologizing of what mistake they have done.And it's unbearable that people started calling at night 11pm to numbers in my dialed list and started talking cheaply.

    I want to lodge a case in consumer court as well as will file a FIR on the numbers that happened to call at late nights.And it's not at all a good sign of respect abusing women.Consider this as a serious issue as I don't want anyone calling from your company until this is solved.

    And I want to know whether there is any policy stating that collection agents can call to any number from the dialed lists at mid nights and asking for bill payments.This is seriously insane and honestly a dis-respect towards your company.

    Request you not to copy paste the same template as a reply for this and provide a proper solution as early as possible.

    Default Excess data charges

    When I took the postpaid connection (9000373736) from airtel I asked the airtel employee to activate 500 mb data but they have activated some thing else and from the past 3months I have been paying thousands for the data and recently bill dated 9/5/2012 I have been charged 5800 rs.when I checked my bills for the first time since I took the connection ,I was shocked to see that I have been charged 3200 rs for 300 mb ,then I have raised many complaints since then...only thing they say is I have been charged for what I used ,but I wanna point out about the data plan I have asked for,,and the data plan which they activated ...I haven't seen such a pathetic, irresponsible service . I have three airtel connections on my name and I am paying about 3000 to 5000 rs a month..I don't understand one thing,don't we deserve the service which was asked for!!!! I have seen many of my friends who are all happy with other networks and only mistake I have done is choosing airtel .i deeply regret for choosing airtel .

    I wanna file a complaint in the court if this is not solved. I hope to see a better and responsible service .
