My father got a Murphy Richards Mixer Grinder model 'icon delux 600 watts' from Shariff Electronics or something, on Sayaji Rao Rd, Mysore 2 days back. When he got it home he finds that the MRP is torn on the box. As per the adds shown on the telivision every half an hr on star world - any model of mixer grinder of Murphy Richards has a discount of Rs 800 on the MRP. The actual MRP he was told by the dealer is Rs 4095, and he got it for Rs 3665 but the Murphy Richards company clames rs 800 off on all its mixer grinders. We did not get this Rs 800 off on the product but only rs 400 off on the product. with no evidance on MRP shown to us.. i really doubt on the MRP told to me... he also said that there are 2 motors in the mixer and it is a recently launched product.. he also said the motor can run for 2 hrs continuesly... but when they got home as i said MRP was missing.. it was not launched recently was made on oct 2009, and it is written not to use for more than half an hour... and also when my dad went and ask some other shop wher they dont sell MR products they said he as cheated you saying there are 2 motors..? he asked why there should be and where there is space for 2 motors..? i dont know why dealers lie so much about the product just to sell it to a poor 60yr old man..? and also not stick to the offers provided by the company...?
when I went looking for the product and prize the website does't conveniently mention the prize of this particular product "icon dlx 600 watts" but mentions the higer end product "icon dlx 750 watts" as MRP 4395 and available 800 rs off.. and also all other lower products which are of 600 watts motor and all are less than 3000 rs. I guess i have been cheated on the prize and the product and also the prize of the product when the offer is going on i did not get the offer as well. Please look into the matter, and kindly do the needful...?
