Re: Complaint – Electrolux 25F686Sl (25 Lit) convection Micro-oven


I invite your attention to my letter dated 31.12.07 and Email dated 01.02.08, copies of which are enclosed for your ready reference, in response of which, after vigorous persuasion , your Kolkata office exchanged the oven with a new one (serial no 71201365) on 22.02.2008 without any guarantee card in spite of my demand. However the new machine again became out of order in the month of July, 2008. Following which I lodged a complaint on 04.08.08 under docket no. 680080808040020. A mechanic from your local office visited my place to inspect the machine and told that as some parts needed to be changed, he would report to his office and duly inform me. After repeated requests another mechanic was send who demanded Rs. 900/- to repair the oven. I refused to pay him any charge on the ground that the problem occurred within 1 year of guarantee of the replaced machine. He not only misbehaved with me but also refused to give any estimate in writing for repairing. As one mishap occurred in my family, I could not take up the matter with you in time. In view of this context which not only tarnishes the image of your company but also makes me believe that this model of Electrolux is not up to the mark to be sold in the market at all. Thus, I urge you to refund me with the purchase price of the machine failing which I shall be compelled to take up the matter with the appropriate legal authorities for redressal of my grievances.
