The Apollo Group of hospitals and healthcare services will help set up a hospital in Warsaw.

Medicover Investment BV, a leading European private healthcare service company, has signed an agreement with the Apollo Consulting Service, an arm of Apollo Hospitals, to build a private hospital in Warsaw.

Under the agreement, Medicover will develop the private hospital market in Poland. Its first pilot project in Warsaw is a 200-bed hospital to be built in two phases, a statement from the Apollo Group here said.

The Apollo Consulting Service will provide support during the planning and construction stages of the project. Later it will provide operational support.
