Dear Sirs,

I had purchased a file of EVION 400 capsules (Vitamin E Capsules)in the month of
December, 2008 manufactured by MERCK Limited,with a manufacturing date of Sep 08 and
Expiry date of Nov 10 which cost me Rs11.29 for 10 capsules. Again I have purchased
another file of same capsule in the month of January, 2009 with a manufacturing date
of Dec 08. But, this time I had to pay Rs.60.00 for the same 10 capsules. Only
difference I could find between these two files that
the earlier one describes the Capsule as "VITAMIN E CAPSULES USP" and the later one
describes it as "VITAMIN E,WHEAT GERM OIL and OMEGA-3 FATTY ACIDS CAPSULES". I can
well understand that there are some added components in the later file but, does
this worth of such a huge difference in price of more than 5 times?? I think this is
just frauding and directly looting the consumers. I am enclosing herewith photo copy
of both the packets of the said capsule for your perusal and request you to look
into the matter and ask for a valid explanation from the manufacturer. Your
intervention regarding above will definitely help many people to save themselves
from such loot.
