Respected Sir,
This is to inform that i, Paul Antony, from Ayroor ( Ernakulam District) approached one educational agency named Winstar at Ernakulam for studying medicine (MD) at Philippines..! But, later on, I came to know that they are not doing any direct admission at Philippines. They are doing admissions through another agency at Banglore named Sri Hari Academy which is not even a registered agency..!
Before paying our consultation fee of Rs 1,80,000/- to Winstar, they assured me that i can directly enroll for medicine since, i already have an degree of NURSING. Also they informed us that the academic year for medicine starts from the month of October. But, after paying our first installment fee of Rs 30,000/- they told us that classes may starts from November. Then, they subsequently postponed to December and finally to February..! Then, they made me to pay the rest of the money of Rs 1,50,000/- and also an additional Rs 16,000/- They assured that I have to appear for an entrance like exam called NMAT on December 13th and should wait for another one month to start my MD classes..! They also collected USD 550 $ before leaving from India saying that they have some more administrative works in University. They even threatened me that i can not enter Philippines OR university, if i didn't pay USD 550. Hence they made us to pay that money too. So, in total i paid Rs 1,96,000 + USD 550 before i leave India.
But, when i reached the university at Philippines, I came to know that there is no batch for medicine starts from February..! I personnely confirmed that from the Dean and vice president of the university. They informed me that the New academic year for medicine starts from June for all colleges and universities in Philippines.. Also, i had an extra expenses of around Rs 10,000/- there in Philippines.!
If they have informed this fact previously before giving our first installment, i can enroll for medicine in any other countries. Because of their misguidance and irresponsibility, i lost one year. I am in the age of 25 yrs now. Now, i messed up the desire to study medicine. Because, I belongs to a middle class family. Even my brother is also still studying..
When i discussed this matter with agency they simply assured me that classes will starts from February itself and also discouraged me for meeting higher officials in university. Also, the university people are also asking me every day “when will i leave from there’..??? Finally, i decide to come back India, since there is no classes until june..!
After, I came back from Philippines, myself and my father struggled a lot for getting our money back. Finally, they declared that they are ready to refund only Rs 1,75,000/-(cheque) if i am ready to sign on a Stamp paper stating that we don't have any more complaints against them and no more financial claims against them.
Obeying my father's advice, I agreed for that.
Now, I don't want to waste my father's single paisa...! I need all the amount spent by my father. I know that i cannot get back the lost one year, but, atleast I needed my father's money..!
Do, I get justice...??????
