The local chemist in my area has a 24hr. Day N Night service + Home delivery. They have a system of providing Customer ID's for the same.My father has a heart ailment and regularly calls for the medicine from this place. Now my complaint is that today my mother called for a stomach infection medicine (total cost Rs. 209/-) from this store and when my mother gave the boy the amount of her medicine order, they flatly refused giving it and saying my mother pay up "the previous dues entirely'. She was not aware that my father had not paid the previous medicine bills.
Now how is she in fault, as an individual, if whatever account that my father had with the said chemist? How could they deny medicines to another patient, although her wife, but another individual nonetheless? This inspite of her paying the amount of Rs.209 right away with no question of any credit system?? How is this her fault?? I am very dismayed by this treatment.

Also, I have withheld the chemist store's name and the manager whom I spoke to. This is purely done as I would like to first sought an appropriate legal expert's opinion here, without bringing dis-repute to the above chemist store.
