i have purchased hospital cash policy from royal sundaram and paid the yearly one time primium. after 3-4 months, i was hospitalised due acute gastroentertitis. as due to heavy water loss and being diabitic, the doctor advised icu admission for three days.
after my recovery, i filed the claim of rs. 9000.00 as per policy terms, they rejected it stating that the admission to icu was not required.
