I Have taken a health Insurance from Star Health Insurance, My wife Asha Fell Sick One day and was suffering from sever fever and head ache and loose motion, i took her to vikram hospital and they told me that she is having 102 F fever they told me that he has to get admitted for further investigation, i got her admitted we ahd the medical Insurance cover and submitted all my documents, she was hospitalised for 3 to 4 days and at the time of Discharge the hospital was stating that the claim has been rejected, we were shocked and called the bangalore customer care offce and we had a big argument with them, In the begning they were stating that patient was admitted without fever, later we showed them the proof that of the document at the time of admittion, later after several call they came to a conclusion and sent accross a person from star health insurance to the hospital, His name was Vijay , he came and did some investigations and later told us we will get the coverage , after 4 hours we got a call from hospital that we got an approval of 50% of claims , I was forced to pay the remaning money arround 15,000/-rs and got my wife discharged,
Why people lie at the time of asking us to take the Insurance, what we have a insurance and some thing serious happens and we trusting that we have a insurance ,
dear Sir pl help me on this , I have all relavent documents against them to launch a complaint.
