Ltd., Kailash Colony Branch; to pay my claim as per order of the Hon,ble District Consumer Court, Delhi.Sir, I, above named person have the mediclaim policy issued by the national insurance company. Unfortunately, due to some illness I was admitted in the Fortis Hospital on 02-09-2010 and discharged on 05-09-2010. Though the said insurance company should provide Cashless Facility for the required treatment, the said insurance company denied for the same. After this, I paid the deuce of the Hospital from my own and filed a claim on 17-09-2010 for the reimbursement. On this the said insurance company allowed my claim partly and Expenses of Rs. 21,938/- was disallowed without any reason. After my many visits and enquiry they never satisfied me. With this behaviour of the National Insurance Co. Ltd., I knocked the door of the Consumer Court and the matter ( case no. 1141/10) was decided on 14-06-2011, vide order no. 470/14-06-2011; ordering The National Insurance Co. Ltd., to make the payment of Rs. 18,388/- together with interest @ 12% per annum on the date of the submission of the claim to the date of the actual payment alongwith a sum of Rs. 20,000/- only as the compensation for mental agony etc.,. Now, these people are not ready to obey the court’s order. I visited there office 09-09-2011 for the payment, which they denied. They are also refusing to receive my request ( for payment ) in written. Moreover, they threatened me to see me in the court only. Sir, I have given the brief summary of my case. You can see, how much a consumer have to face harassment, torture to get the claim sanctioned. At the time of providing the policies, these companies attract customers with false commitments and wrong statements and at the time of sanctioning claims, they even don’t bother to answer the question of consumers.Why? Sir, now the matter is at your desk. Please instruct National Insurance Co. Ltd., to make my payment immediately. You are further requested to take the proper action so that these companies may not harass the consumers. Sir, in this matter I visited your branch office on 10th January,2012 and Mr. Gupta ( Next To Manager ) was thrie. Mr. Rastogi ( Manager ) was not in the office and Mr. Gupta did not cooperate me. He did not tell any thing in this regard and also joking “ ab court gaye ho toh court se hi paisa lelo; yahan kya kar rahe ho ” ; it is very disappointing. I also sent a request on 26-09-2011, but these people did not even reply my letter.Now, you are requested once more to intimate me about your further action, you want to obey courts order or not so that I can proceed further.Waiting for your reply.
