Iam married even before joining my company.. and so all my joining docket to every records carry my wife's name.

when the company was changing the insurer, they have asked all it associates to update the new nominees if any..which also confirmed that all earlier dependents need not be updated again.

For which as i dont have any other new dependent, did not update anything for that communication.

When my wife was pregnent started showing her in a good hospital in my town.. but when got to know from the TPA guy that said hospital is not listed in their network hospitals.. cant avail cashless benefits.. as such shifted her to another good hospital which was in their listed network hospitals.

The date of admitting her in hospital is intimated to Paramount, i never had any update on the same from them.. but after 3days the hospital said The paramount not yet updated anything about cashless. i intimated HR, Paramount abuot the same.. they said to pay myself, will try for reimbursment only. As such i made the payment amounting to Rs. 82000/-, including my baby's bill and wife's delivery bill.

Submitted the bills in time. but suddenly, paramount says claim got rejected because my wife's details are not found. I again reminded them that its their service deficiency not updating my wife's details when they already know my marital status as Married.

I requested for the claim Rejection letter(Repudiation Letter), but they say they cant, asked for the insurer's escalation matrix, no reply for that too..

To my Surprise, They have cleared my baby's Bill(Rs.5800/-).

Delievery was done in Oct 2011, On Dec 2011 my wife's policy also got updated and now they say the endorsement date is much after Delievery, as such the delievery bills cant be cleared..!! I questioned them then how can they clear my baby's bills which also fall into the same bracket.. as her policy got created only in dec 2011, bills were of oct 2011..!

And asked a question.. Will any insurer clear Maternity Benefit bills to an Unmarried Employee..?? Because they clear my baby's bills... which proves they got my marital status as married.

i wanna go for justice, please suggest.
