My father has taken a medical insurance policy from new india assurance and TPA is Raksha TPA.
I have been following up for the above mentioned claim for my father's hospitization case since Aug, 2011. The claim is pending for payment at your end since more than 2 months.
Everytime i call up the customer care number 0129-4289999, I got response that the cheque is under processing with F&A dept. When, I called up the customer care number on 5th Nov, 2011 at 12:15 pm from my office number (Gurgaon), the representative was kept me on hold and I could heard that "yar kuchh acchi si goli deni hogi customer ko".....So, basically, such an esteemed organization like RAKSHATPA is actually giving "golis" to its customers and breaching our trust.
Also, my claim passed was for INR 45,000/- (approx.), which has been further redueced to INR 42,171/-. I dont know what exactly is the reason for this reduction. There is no details available on their website.
I also told them if I do not get my cheque by early next week and till date I havent received the cheque. I will be forced to approach consumer court for delaying the pamyent and also will definitely ask for a compensation for speaking unprofessional over the phone "koi badi goli deni hogi customer ko", while the customer care executive holds the phone. I have recorded the phone conversation also.
