    Thumbs down Case Against Apollo DKV Health Insurance

    The worst experience i had with apollo dkv health insurance, i would advice all that do not give any case to apollo dkv as they dont honour commitments

    in case with me i have been cheated by their pritampura branch mr sanjeev kumar

    1) He took 1300 rupees from me to get the medical tests done for client, he promised me to return 900 rupees out of that in weeks time and its been 45 days now i have not recieved anything and when i wrote complaint against him his boss mr deepak sharma also promised me to return it by monday which has also not happened.

    2) Their service is very slow one customer identity card came without photo and for new card they have already taken more than one month whereas i was promised that it will be issued in one weeks time. when this issues are taking so much time god knows how much time they will take to settle the clims or whether they settle claims or not i have my own doubts?

    3) They also promised me the rain coat on my good performance which never came.

    4) IN one of the cases client reached hospitals for medical test and they didnot give any instructions.

    5) Client recieved refund of medical tests and cheque back after 20 days against promised of weeks time

    6) I recieved my policy after 15 days against written promise of less than 7 days

    Avoid any policy of apollo they have come here only to make money

    Exclamation Eye operation for my mother

    My mother is suffering from cataract and she need to need to go for operation ,when she approach Dr.Agrawal hospital they did not accept it after the verification .


    Also this time they send my mothers identity card without photo ,It took more than 3 months to get new one.

    This kind of insurance company is same like finance company.

    How this kind of Appollo DKV companies are authorised by the government?.

    Default Apollo DKV/Apollo Munich - Cheating Company

    I applied for Apollo DKV Insurance for my parents via application number 1100432668 and paid a cheque bearing number 833712 (Citibank) for Rs 12023.
    This was collected by an Apollo executive (whose number I don't have - but was co-ordinated through Apollo Delhi landline number) who came to my place - after I placed request on website

    It is 14 days since the above said payment was made and to this date, there has been no further communication on the same.
    When I call your support number, they say that the application number is not traceable

    This is cheating - and I am filing a police complaint/consumer court case against you for deficiency of service

    I wanted to take medical insurance for my mother and requested customer care guy called me. He called me on daily basis any time till i pay the cheque amount. later he never replied to emails or calls to know the status. His name is Manjith. email id is "Rajalakshmi Sekhar" <callcenter@apollodkv.in>.

    This is how appollo idiots responds to the customer request. This insurance company is only to take money but not to provide service.

    Sir,
    I am sorry to state and re-narrate the problems created by your department for reasons best known to them.
    1.
    Dr.Rajan madan writing is misunderstood for 2 days it is read as 2 months
    Claim is rejected on this ground.
    2.
    A certification is filed again for the same by Dr.Rajan Madan clearly mentioning 2 days of detection.
    Claim is again rejected for reasons known best to you.
    3.
    on the insistance of Ms.Girija she is sent four times the previous policy of ICICI Lombard which was rendered as No Claim for the same for 2 years.
    4.
    we took out a policy with Apollo Munich and what are you now clubbing the same with another company Lombard.
    5.
    Is it necessary that apesonshould continue policies .
    6.
    The Apollo policy is in existance from 16/2/2010 to 15/2/2011,as per these dtails POLICY NO:110100/1/11053/1000074994
    MEMBER ID-1000784911/2 thus all conclusions must be drawn on this policy basis.
    The policy had offered some cashless benefits and other thus the same policy was taken.
    Finally you have in delibration of the Highest dis-regard in Service
    The premium paid is for Rs.52005.90
    we have been made to run from pillar to post by the department headed by Mr.Shrish kumar as told to us,and he is ashamed to come on line and make us understand his real needs.

    Immediate refund of the total premium taken with interest till date is anticipated from Apollo Munich .
    in case you delay the matter we are forced to file a case against you in the consumer forum of redressals and the Ministry of urban Affairs of the style of conducting this buisness.

    I hope you will not delay the matter further .

    Default Horrible experience from Apollo DKV insurance company's marketing executive

    Last year I planned to go for insurance health insurance policy. Shortlisted two companies (Chola and Apollo). Tried calling both these. But Apollo guys were quick in getting the business. So went ahead and took a policy from Apollo. (Further, I confess, one other reason is that I am lured by the marketing chap Shiva Kumar from Bangalore branch with 10% discount). I never got this money from him. Initially he used to say will give that in a week. After that stopped picking the call. Over and above that, this policy mentions an agent name (whom I never met in my life). Its been 1 year. And my policy had come for the renewal.

    Just wondering wether to go ahead and renew or to go for some other company which keeps its promise. Any one has an idea of a company which do not trouble its customers when the case is genuine

    Angry Declination of Mediclaim

    Hi there, I’m 36 yrs. of age having mediclaim policy by Apollo Munich(DKV) from past 2 years.
    I’m suffering from Hypertension from past 3-4 months, yesterday while I was in office I started sweating a lot with pain in head & chest, Straightaway I went to the Hospital (Emergency) & doctors advise me to get admitted Immediately, as I have the personal mediclaim policy, hence I didn’t hesitate to get admitted, while doctors where examine me and send fax to claim the medical insurance, the APOLLOMUNICH / FAMILY HEALTH PLAN (TPA) LIMITED decline my case, as per them my case is not that serious & I should not be get admitted for that.
    I spend two days in hospital & have to pay the hospital charges from my own pocket?
    Kindly explain, is it my fault if doctors ask me to get admitted immediately, or should I supposed to call Apollo Munich from the Emergency ward and ask them whether to get admitted or not, also let me know till what extend a patent should wait to get herself/himself admitted to claim Insurance (is it till Heart Attack?) and when doctors advise the patient to get admitted what should a policy holder do?
