    Default HDFC Ergo Not giving me claim

    Dear Sir

    My name is shashi dhar pandey and I have carry a health suraksha policy no. Hn01042011000133.
    Today I was injured in an accident and I have fracture in my right leg and I was suffering from pain.
    So I went in nearest hospital named mamta hospital in gurgaon, where doctor given me treatment(X-ray, plaster for 4 week). The total bill of treatment is rs.3500.00+ medicine(extra) and I have to go for check-up two time in a week. And if we calculate total expenses in complete treatment will be 10000-12000 approx.

    When I called in hdfc ergo customer care for register my claim, they told me that 24hrs. Hospitalization is must for claim, but when your representative call me regarding this policy, he never told me any such type of condition.
    My office staff also carry some medical policy and they don't face any such type of problem or condition.
    Now at that time I feel cheated and I am requesting to you that please take some strict action in this matter so that any insurance company can dare to cheat innocent public.
    My be I cant back my money which I spend for medical treatment or policy premium but if you really take an action in this matter then my be another shashi dhar will never write you such type of complain or mail.

    Thumbs down HDFC ERGO...Worst Health Insurance

    My name is Demant Prasad, my policy number is HR0605201000371 I recently got admitted to Maharaja Agrasen Hospital Padmanabhanagar due to typhoid. My hospital intimated to HDFC EGRO, After three days when i got discharged hospital raised the claim to HDFC they asked to send Fax to their number, my hospital send the Fax almost 6 times but no response from them. i called their customer care they told they have not received any Fax and they were very rude. We called 3-4 times to customer care after sending the fax but same response. At last i paid 13500/- and came out. HDFC ERGO they are WORST health insurance providers. Please do not ever go for this insurance. I got the review from other people also they were also saying the same thing.

    OPD treatment is not covered for 4-5 hours of hospitalisation.
    To register a claim hospitalization of 24 hrs is a must.

    I would like to cancel my health insurance policy which is under process of activation against my credit card No. ending XXXX XXXX XXXX 1740, and my Date of Birth 10th March 1973.

    I am not interested in it at this point of time. As I am availing the facility of Armed Forces Health Schemes.

    I Tried to contact the Customer care of HDFC but I am not able to reach even after making several attempts, please do the needful at the earliest, I don't want the money billed to my credit card.

    I would like to cancel my health insurance policy of rs 8386 which is under process of activation against my credit card No. ending XXXX XXXX XXXX 2126, and my Date of Birth 28th feb 1969.

    I am not interested in it at this point of time.

    I Tried to contact the Customer care of HDFC but I am not able to reach even after making several attempts, please do the needful at the earliest, I don't want the money billed to my credit card.

    I would like to cancel my health insurance policy of rs 8376 which is under process of activation against my credit card No. ending XXXX XXXX XXXX 2126, and my Date of Birth 28th feb 1969. mob no 9422316677

    I am not interested in it at this point of time.

    I Tried to contact the Customer care of HDFC but instead they gave me a helpline no 12007554879. i posted a letter regarding the cancellation of my health policy on 7/1/2012. instead of canceling the policy they gave me another no1) 003131670 , no2) 003144853. when i contacted on dis no they told me to fax the letter, which i faxed on (FAX NO: 02266383669) 12TH JAN 7:53pm.But yet my policy cancellation hasn't been done.

    please do the needful at the earliest within 2 days, I don't want the money billed to my credit card.
