I have taken medical insurance from ICICI Lombard for my dependant. There was a surgery performed and I submitted the claim for the same. After a long process of document verifications and even an authorised person visited my home to verify the details and documents, now ICICI Lombard is saying the claim has expired and they cannot process the same for not providing a document. I was ready to produce the document after getting the same from the hospital, but ICICI Lombard refused to process the same saying that the waiting period has expired. Looks like they are fiinding some reason to reject the claims.

It was a very bad experience with ICICI Lombard insuracne company. Public awareness is required to keep away from such companies and pl invest your money with the proper insurance companies who really recognize the customer claims.
