    Angry ICICI Lombard Rejected Cashless Benefit

    :@Hi, I am the customer of ICICI Lombard (Policy# 4034i/FPP/04742796/00/000, AL#110100135540) from last 3 years and I have taken the policy for myself and my parents. My Father needs to be hospitalized due to slip disc and doctor has advised for an operation. It's been last 3 days that ICICI Lombard is rejecting our request of Cashless Hospitalization due to overwriting done by the doctor in OPD Card. After contacting the customer care, we had sent the Apology letter written by the doctor but still the case is not honored. Request you to take an immediate action against the company so the innocent customers would not suffer at the time of crisis, especially in a medical emergency.
    I am really hopeful that you will intervene to help me in this case as my Father needs the treatment as soon as possible. Please please please consider this application on immediate basis.

    Default My mother`s insurance policy from ICICI Lombar got

    We bought an Health Insurance Policy for my mother when she was 62, ICICI Lombard gave a 3 year policy term and an option to renew. Last month when we attempted to renew it they rejected it, stating she is over 65 years of age. I had read in one of the news articles some months back that IRDA had made it mandatory for all insurance companies to issue health Insurance policies irrespective of age of the applicant.

    Can someone please guide me in this matter?
