Dear Sir,
I am a health insurance policy holder under the Maxima Plan of Apollomunich Health Insurance. As per this plan I received coupons for cashless health check-ups, cashless pharmacy etc. I have contacted many network hospitals for the service but many of them have denied for cashless service. Such network hospitals are Paramount Hospital in Serampore near Kolkata and Apollo Clinic in Kankarbagh-Patna. For this I have lodged complaint on toll free number 18001020333 and 01244842357 and my complaint / call reference number is 171060(dated 07/03/2011 and 169843 (04/03/2011). However all such complaints go unanswered. On contacting local representative in Kolkata (mobile number-9674423450), he curtly told to abandon the policy and take some other company policy.
Now my policy date expires on 11/03/2011 and I am unable to take the benefit. So, I request you to please extend my policy for another six months so that you can educate the network hospitals on policy details and then I can avail the benefits. Else you can pay me back the remaining coupon amount of Rs 20,000/-.
Please note that proper homework was not done by you before rolling out such policies and all the network hospitals (including Apollo Hospitals) are unaware of the policy and hence refuse to entertain it. It would be wise to recall all such policies and if possible wind up the insurance business which is not the core strength of Apollo Brand.
I am severely distressed and at loss of words to express my grief on such apathy shown by such a brand. Please help me at the earliest since I do not want to renew the policy after such misadventures.
