Hi All,

My father got cardiac attack on 3rd Dec and he was admitted to first sector 16 on same day but after 3 days they referred the case to PGI and he got admitted there. Doctor operated him and placed Stent inside one of his artery. As soon as he got admitted to PGI I have informed the insurance company about that via email and via phone and they told me that once he get discharge please let us know and then you can claim the insurance.
On 7 Jan I submitted all the documents which I recieved from PGI and submitted for the claim but after 2 months they told me that your claim is rejected because of few reasons:

Your Claim has been cosed Due to non submission of original discharge summary ;complete breakup of final bill ;reason for longer stay in the hospital by treating Doctor ; All investigation reports with report of angiography case has been closed.

Whereas first of all they have not informed me in advance what information they required from my side, even which I have mentioned in my email which I sent to them and second thing they are saying that reason 'for longer stay in hosiptal' how can I say that why he stayed there long as it is not in my hand and I have provided them all the information, bills and reports in original or in photostat, which I got from PGI.

Without doing any investigation, even they have not done the background checking with PGI, how they can reject this claim. Atleast they need me to inform in advance what information they require from my side.

I am frustrated with their behaviour and if you can help me out in this case please let me know.
