I m of Age 46, I have taken this policy after undergoing due medical check ups and had paid more premium for the age creteria. I had to under go a Sugical operation in my ears due to pain.

The concern Hospital (Vijaya ENT) was in the List of Network Hospital of ICICI Prulife Insurance, however, the Doctor in the Hospital refused for cashless treatment as he has some pending payment from Insurance Companies.

We had no other option except to pay for the surgery and claim from ICICI Pru Life Insurance.We have submitted the claim on August 2008 and till date no response for reimbursement of claim amount.

When called their call centre for the status, they simply say that the claim has been rejected for pre exisiting illness and they are not giving the same in writing to file a compliant against them on these grounds
1.On What grounds they concluded that its a pre existing illness.
2.If pre existing , why did not they reject the case when we applied for the policy after due medical check up and pay more premium.
