    Default Non availability of claim amount after docuement submission

    I am having two Family Health Insurances from M/S TTK HEALTH CARE SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED company as mentioned below,

    1. United India Insurance Co. Ltd – Policy No. 101400/48/09/97/00000156 valid up to
    27.04.10

    2. ICICI Lombard Health Insurance – Policy No. 4034/FPS/04232898/00/000 valid
    Up to 03.12.09

    Recently I got admitted in SUT Hospital, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram and I produced both the cards for claiming my insurance. The Hospital fellows told that it will be better for me if I claim through ICICI Lombard insurance as they are giving the full amount. Due to that I have produced the same for claim purpose. During the time of discharge from hospital the hospital authorities told that fax came from your office that the claim has been rejected. They told me to make an open claim and gave me the documents. As per that I have submitted all the documents to your office for claim purpose. Further I got a letter from your office (Ref.No. BLC-06-09-CN-L12003 DT. 30.06.09) asking for some documents for the claim purpose. As per that I went to hospital collected all the documents and sent it to your office. Now I got a letter (Dt. 25.08.09) from your office mentioning that the claim has been rejected as the policy has not reached its two years period from the date of commencement. If so I should get the claim from my United India Insurance Co.Ltd taken from your company. The company is not replying even after my several phone calls and mailing the docuement through mail.

    I have taken two Health Insurance policies from your company thinking that it will be helpful for me, But till these days this is creating only problems for me and I am not getting my claim even by having two Insurance policies dealt by the same TTK health services. Take necessary action so that I should get my claim from any one of these policies.

    Hi,

    Please contact with Private Health Insurance Ombudsman department ...with all your documents...... I guess this will work..
    This is the only way to tackle the worst TPAs
