Hi,
My father Gajanand Agarwal got operated for cataract on 11 June 2012 after getting written approval from UHC TPA.
After the operation, hospital got an email stating that my father has not completed one year with the policy and hence I should pay the money.
The policy is with Apollo Munich (Member ID: 3136597).
They have issued me an apology and UHC manager has told me that his employee has made a mistake.
My question to UHC is Why should I pay the money for their mistakes?
Does written pre-authorization does not hold any value?
Then why is it done?
