Recently I have approcahed BPCL Gas agency and HP Gas agency for new connection.
They want me to purchase their Gas stove alongwith the gas cylinder, otherwise I
cannot get connection. I have my own gas stove which is of good quality. Then I have
asked them what I will do with my gas stove they say that it is not their problem. I
think this is not justice to the customers as well as to the manufacturers of other
gas stoves. They are using their monopoly to compel the customers to purchase thier
inferior quality gas stove to get the gas cylinder. If this is the case what the
manufacturers of the gas stove will do?
Those who are having a better quality gas stove (like Cooking range etc. ) will have
to purchase their gas stove and throw it to get new connection.
I request your action on this as a public interest matter.

I am looking for new LPG connection in Noida, and tried to get it from 'Jai Harsh Bahuguna' gas agency. Since 1st May'09, I have visited them at least 5-6 times but everytime they have a new story to tell. Today I visited them again and they asked me to come after 15th Sep'09 as at the moment they are running behind schedule for already booked new connections and they might open bookings after given date.
I visited other BPCL gas agency in Sec 20 Noida, they have connection bookings open but simply refused that my residence is not under their area and I should go to 'Jai Harsh Bahuguna' only.
This is really frustrating and giving encouragement to black marketing and dubious LPG connections.

[ consumer no. 26081].On 17 th September 2009 @ 9.30 A.M. I booked for a refill
cylinder and the number given was 44. On Tuesday 22 nd September I inquired when I
would receive the cylinder I was told tomorrow i.e. Wednesday 23 rd I accordingly
applied for leave to stay at home and receive the cylinder. On Wednesday morning at
abt 8.30 a.m. I again contacted the agency for the confirmation and I was assured
that I would receive the cylinder today. At about 13.30 hrs again I phoned and I was
again assured that my cylinder has been sent for delivery and I will receive it
today. At about 16.30 on approaching again I was once again assured. BUT ALAS THE
CYLINDER WAS NOT DELIVERED. Sir, what type of service is this ? A consumer has to
stay AT HOME TAKE LEAVE JUST TO WAIT FOR THE CYLINDER AND THEN INSPITE OF ASSURANCES

This is regarding Nihal gas agency, Mayur vihar Phase - 2, Delhi 91. Land line nos. 011-22777003 & 22781109. I have a BPCL gas connection through this distributer. I had booked my cylinder on 22-9-09 online but till date I have no information regarding my booking and it remains undelivered. I tried my best to reach the distributer on both the landlines provided but in vain. Both the numbers either ring constantly and nobody picks the phone or it is always engaged. I am facing this problem since quite a while now but avoided to complain but now its getting worse day by day. Please advise me what to do in such circumstances.

asked them what I will do with my gas stove they say that it is not their problem. They say its HPCL company's rule to buy a stove with the connection, its compulsory. I spoke to the main distributor in Rajkot too, he told me there is no such rule or compulsion from the company. Its just the agency wants to sell their products by hook or by crook. In my village they have sold many connection on this grounds by charging extra money for stove by compulsion. I think this is not justice to the customers as well as to the manufacturers of other gas stoves. They are using their monopoly to compel the customers to purchase thier
inferior quality gas stove to get the gas cylinder. If this is the case what the
manufacturers of the gas stove will do?
Those who are having a better quality gas stove (like Cooking range etc. ) will have

Or its better to bribe the gas delivery person and buy the cylinder as and when needed by paying a little money extra than paying fr the stove.

This is regarding Ratnakala Gas Agency Maruthankuzhy Trivandrum . We have booked the gas and we got the notification through sms that booking has been accepted. But after waiting for 1 week we dint get the gas . whenever we call they say its on the way will get today but that today is never coming. This is happening monthly . Please take some action immediately since we have only one gas connection.

I have booked our cylinder (for re-filling) on 04/12/2009 (after 21 days from delivery of previous cylinder) with Tejaswini Gas (dealer of BPCL) & booking No. given is 1230. Since 8/12/2009 we are calling to dealer for delivery & every day we have given falls commitments like “Cylinder is dispatched from here”, “Delivery boy will come in the morning/after noon/evening” , Cylinder will be delivered tomorrow, in two days time etc ….. Yesterday (14/12/2009) again I called & they replied me that “BPCL Company is not providing cylinders properly & sufficient, due to shortage it may take another 6 days for delivery”.
Today is 15/12/2009. Since yesterday I am trying to talk with BPCL person at their Pune office on 26342176 & 26345141. Unfortunately & surprisingly security guard receiving the phone calls & telling that “No one is there in the office” I also tried to contact at their Mumbai regional office on (022) 24145848 / 24176250 but no response.
Sir what should we do in this regard ?

i am feeling some cheating with me about the charges recovered.
the gas stove is of very poor quality and provided forcelly,it costs in eral market about Rs 550.00 only but they charge Rs 1525.00 for it
the gas lighter is also poor in quality and provided forcelly,it costs Rs 55.00 in open market but they charge Rs 150.00 for it.
the other charges as shown in cash memo "A" are not satisfactory.
what can i do?
what is the real forum,where i can take justice.
so many people are also cheated here.

Recently I have approcahed BP Gas agency for new connection.
They want me to purchase their Gas stove alongwith the gas cylinder, otherwise I cannot get connection. I have my own gas stove which is of ISI mark.
They are charging Rs 5000 for both. I am without gas for the past one month. I am new in Puna and am really facing tough time here.

i am sudesh kumari from taragarh consumer of hp Gas consumer no(604026),.ir my coustmer copy has been lost accidently and i intimated regarding this to the dealer Asha Rani Dealer Code(725750). i and said them to inactivate the status of previous copy.and issued me the new copy.but they r dnaying to do so.she said me that throw away your boucher it not of use. i think they r looking for money for issueing the new copy.i have booked the cylinder there and they have given me the date 29 dec .dut i have visited to them four to five time. every time they made excuse and did not give me gas cylinder.
and their behaviour with the coustmers is not good.they started scolding to coustmers.
plz sir help me.and said them to issue me new copy of cylinder.and take some strict action againest the asha rani and their employee

i am residing at block no b/2 h.no. 224 yamuna vihar delhi-53 on rental basis.i visited several times at gopal indane gas agency yamuna viharfor new gas agency. i have LIC polcy certifcate for residence proof and PAN card.but they are not providing new gas connection.they are saying this is not a vallid documents for gas connection.you provide us ration card, i have not it.so kindly my comlaonant snd to the competant authority for take appropriate legal action against agency holder. i am waiting for reply.

i had got BP gas connection from district Rajouri J&K some two & half years back. Now i have been transfered to District Jammu of J&K.I have transfered my gas connection from Rajouri to Jammu but want the HP gas connection here at Jammu as they have home delivery in our locality. B P gas dealers at Rajouri & also at Jammu have told me that it is my choice if i want to migrate to HP gas but the HP gas dealer is not listening to my request . Plz tell me whether i can get my connection from Hp gas dealer & if yes what further course of action i should take
